Thunderbird has gone downhill I actually agree.

I find it very buggy - it's not realtime even though it does say it is, lots of crashes and restarts.

I've moved over as of Monday last week. Strange you started this thread. The latest update they did hasn't helped.

I don't want to start a flame war because people swear by thunderbird. But for me, iPhone mail and MacBook mail all the way, just gotta make sure u turn off image in your preferences and settings because images are loaded by default unlike thunderbird.

I use Thunderbird too and have had no problems with it. I have no strong feelings for it, I will use whatever is best. I just do not like Outlook because it seems that every virus in the world seems to affect Outlook.

Some of my problems with thunderbird included crashing and once you downloaded a certain amount of emails it never downloads from the server anymore. You can instruct thunderbird upon installation to download maybe only 5000 emails rather than 50,000, then the software might be ok, but once over time you have collected 50,000 emails, would it crash and not load new emails again?

I tend to set it to sync only the last 30 days of mail - for each mail account. That may help with so much mail.

To answer your question, sales between now and the 20th do not count towards this review but July's review.

It is buggy at times, have you made sure that you have kept it up to date...this can cause issues when using it if the latest version isn't installed.... i.e: fails to send emails and says there is no connection

Are you syncing 'ALL' the mail for each account?
