Default First time payment off EB

i have this buyer that purchased some items from EB but now wants to just
send him the invoice to his pp(skip EB)
I haven't had any payments off Bay so i'm not sure if i should accept.
Is it safe to receive like 200$?

What do you think ?

Sorry i guess i wasn't clear.

My question is is it ok to receive payment directly and not thru EB.
All my payments so far are thru EB and the amount is not small so what do i do?

What is the feedback of the buyer?

What country is he/she based in?

Did you ask him/her WHY bypassing eb checkout?

Buyer is from Japan and he already purchased and left FB so he probably wants to get lower price. I trust the guy it's just pp that worries me.
How should i proceed....send him invoice?

He already left you positive feedback? Trustful buyer - lower price....what do you mean? You offer discount?

Might as well send him an invoice for goods and services as long as item isn't high risk/counterfeit.

I can never say anything is ok 100% of the time with PP. What have been your OTHER payments coming from eb sales? Have they been kind of close to $200?

Account has been alive for 8 months now? That's a good thing.

You should be ok - as long as Paypal gets its fee (which it will) and you pay the eB fee. Don't withdraw the whole $200 right away.

Again, nothing is 100% but chances are good since account has been active for about 8 months...but answer my questions about sales...

My items are 20-50$ each but sometimes buyers buy few totaling around 150$.
But i have never received 200$ and this would be payment off EB.

Off ebay payments are just as or more safe that one ebay payments.

You should have no problem at all with a $200 payment after receiving $150.00 combined payments before.

rsot is not following your question and is extra confusing as normal.

ok,I thought he wanted to buy your item for a higher price than what you sell on ebay. You can send invoice with paypal, with the name and the quantity of the items, and update the invoice with tracking information once you got it. with a 8 months account, you "should" not have any problem, keep the money from this transaction in your paypal balance until the item is delivered.

The info about the $150 payment history did not come out until after the thread was well under way.

@OP, since you have the history of payments steadily going up, yes you should be fine.

Off ebay sales carried out just through PayPal is still covered by PayPal's seller protection.

I think he's more concerned regarding the risk of limitation than about potential issues with the buyer.

OP, if the Paypal account has plenty of transaction history and the amount you will be receiving is on a par with most of your other transactions then the risk of limitation is fairly low.

This may be a time to be prudent.

Ebay/paypal do not like spikes in sales.

Gradual increase is ok.

Double turnover month on month is risky. You should consider multiple stealth accounts to spread the turnover.
