Has anyone used eBay valet service?
Seems like a good deal.. Sure they take an additional 20%, but if you're borderline considering hiring a new employee, the 20% seems like a deal. eBay provides a shipping label, and you send them all your stuff and they list it for you. For me, I make my money buying... So if I could pass off the listing and shipping part to someone else I could make up the difference by being out and buying more. Plus, if eBay is in possession of your items, they know you and the items are legit. If a buyer issue comes up, they know it's not your problem since they took on all the headaches.
Half tempted to try it with my whole stockpile of built up inventory from the past several months.. I think id be ok with losing 20% if it meant unloading it all at once for a big paycheck... And strengthening both my feedback and reputation with eBay for this inactive account I am bringing back to life. |
