seller claims didnt get tracking shows delivered
 
I just wonder as far as cases closed without seller resolution if buyer escalates the case and eb sides with buyer will this be a hit against me ,even tho i responded to case said contact post office ,buyer responded dont have time want item or refund . I respond this should be covered in the buyer seller protection as i printed the label from pp and tracking shows delivered ,, this is were the case stands now .. thoughts ? it was 30.00 item just wondering best course of action . Anytime i have ever escalated the case myself i lose even if i load tracking to the case

That's bizarre.

If you update with tracking number and it shows delivered you've no reason to lose

I don't know how you would lose a case if tracking was uploaded AND it shows delivered, to the correct zipcode. Except if a robot did it. But if that's what happened, it's an easy fix. What was the case for in the first place? Also, you don't just escalate it, You CALL and have them close the case in your favor.

james13v is correct, I have had many cases closed in my favour when I contacted ebay(I normally do it via online chat) and they can manually check whether tracking shows delivered or if buyer admits it in messages or in case details that they got it

As others have stated you should be fine as long as you upload tracking and the item shows delivered. I freaked out about an item I sent that the buyer claimed they never received it and how cameras watching their house to prove it. It was worse because they wanted a refund from a new PP account not properly setup. It was pretty easy and resolved in my favor once the tracking info showed delivered.

buyer escalated it and they refunded buyer and i kept payment without impact to my standards this time :)

Usually if I have tracking it shows delivered and they open claim. I make sure tracking is uploaded then immediately escalate and I usually win within 1hr or so....

Damn, that sucks. You're not missing out on too much though. They're more useless on chat than on the phone as they almost certainly follow script no matter what

But it's always nice to have the option. A lot easier to wait for the customer rep on chat then having to listen to eBay's automated messaged for an hour until a rep picks up the phone.
