It's unfortunate right? how there's not one platform that will just do it all!

By the way, these applications do have the right to integrate with PayPal (just like ebay), so as to initiate refunds etc. - they just haven't done it to date.

Not had any accounts go down whilst using Linnworks.

We do not link PayPal accounts to Linnworks, any refunds need to be done manually using stealth techniques directly via PayPal.

They allow 3rd party apps to use their system to carry out processes or retrieve certain data - Don't know if that means API lol

But yes, I have come across a few things this form of integration can utilise.

a) Carry out refunds by logging into a 3rd party tool. I haven't looked into this much though.

b) Retreive data to confirm a transaction was successful, thus the 3rd party tool will automatically send the order (i.e. an eBook etc).

c) Quickbooks and PayPal can be integrated very easily to make accounting easier.

B and C are very simple and straightforward. A is very rarely found.

As far as getting a VA to help out (on that side of things, listings, tracking, etc) I have had good success with upwork.com You can get some pretty good and cheap workers from there.
