Default Low Feedback Block?

Is there a way to block people wtih low feedback numbers like 1,2,3 etc..... from buying your items.

Because most of those people are usually scammers

That's a tough one to answer, since there's no way to prove it worked. Could it have gotten broken in shipping? Was it insured? If yes; you can ask for the item to be returned, and file a report with shipping company.

The question is how do you know the buyer is going to file this dispute??

The best buyer requirements you can set is:
Must have a paypal
no unpaid strikes in the last 6 months
block all who are registered in countries i dont ship to

it does a good job filetering out unpaying buyers & any other little problems

If you received payment via Paypal and the buyer has filed a dispute already, call PP on the phone and inform them that you will issue immediate refund AS SOON AS THE ITEM IS RETURNED TO YOU and not 1 picosecond sooner. No return, no refund.

Since sellers can't even do a followup to their feedback saying if a buyer scammed them, then I find now buyers with high feedback are often worse as they many times have tons of feedback all from abusing and scamming sellers, and what's worse, eBay will treat these buyers like they can do wrong. Whereas you get someone with less than 5 feedback, and if they get abusive eBay will actually listen to you and sometimes ban permanently them if they do enough abusive behavior.

That could very well happen. Sometimes somebody gets one over on you. But if you are persistent with Paypal and with the buyer, a scammer will often give up if the going isn't easy. Not always, but I've had pretty good luck.

Sometimes the best you can do is the best you can do. If you don't at least TRY, you've lost already.

I had someone do that to me before. It was only a $25-$30 item. paypal gave them back their money and told me I'd have to go file a police report and fax it to them before they would help me. wasn't worth my time.

yeah but out of 10,000 or more items sold I can count the fraud on two hands. so its not all that bad. well and i cut out selling to Italy really early because 99% of all my problems came from there.

yeah thats my problem too. I stopped shipping international all together about a year ago. it always runs slow. then around the holidays it seems to take 3 months to make it to its destination. by that point your buyer is pissed and you end up out the money from a dispute. Its just not worth it. Kinda funny how shipments coming into the us can be tracked but shipments going out don't seem to ever work. go figure....

Sometimes using the customs number works. Sometimes it doesn't.
