Ebay feedback system
 

Hi, was ebay the first to use the feedback system, who came out with this idea first, whoever it was it was a revolutionary idea...

The original idea may have been revolutionary but the infamous DSR they have introduced now is corrupt to the core. It impacts unfairly on smaller sellers, those who sell international and those who ship heavy/bulky goods. If you shift thousands of items a month you are far more able to absorb a few low scores or negs than a small seller who could get suspended for SNP.

The right for sellers to award negs should also be restored. There are too many extortionists and blackmailers out there.

Their new system that seller cant give negative feedback to buyer make me as seller headache. Customer not always right.

the fact that sellers cannot give negative feedback is ridiculous
just like the same way with paypal they are 100% for the buyers, they should give a bit more power to the sellers....

This is very true. Personally, I am often quick to point that fact out to them in a very direct manner. If that doesn't clear things up, I don't hesitate to employ rudeness quite abruptly. Always works at stage 1 or 2.
