Can we see what Buyers are rating us~ Low or High Stars on Feedback?
 

Is there a way to see what the buyer is leaving on Feedback as far as the number of Stars they are leaving????

No you can never see what the DSR rating each buyer leaves.

if you really want to and you dont have much feedback.. you can kinda get an idea if you regularly monitor your DSRs

So wht good would it do me if I knew who left low stars? and is this called DSR? Its not like I can message the person to change it right? :confused:

You are only allowed 5 feedback revisions per 1000 feedback left on your account. When they revise the feedback at that time they can also revise the DSR rating. For them to revise their feedback you have to submit the feedback revision form. When submitting them make sure they have already agreed to revise it. Submitting the form counts toward your limit of 5. Also only people who leave negative or neutral feedback are allowed to revise it.

It sounds like you have issues with your current account. I would advise that you start making some stealth accounts so you have a back up plan should something fail.

Generally everyone should be getting pretty decent DSR's unless there is something wrong with your products

You can narrow the DSR's down to pretty far if you dont sell too much of one thing.

If you request reports then its not that hard.

You need to request the report on item #'s. You put in item #'s and i shows you your ratings for that item. If you only sold ten of them you can narrow it down for those people.

You can kinda tell by reading there feedback to others who it is.

Like someone said though. who cares. you cant email them about it or you will be breaking ebays rules so dont.


As for revising/removing. You cannot have it revised or revise it if its post with low dsr's. Been there many times . you cannot.

I had guys leave me post comment and 2dsr on an account once. I new it was him just by the time frame so I emailed him against the rules.

He came back and said he was very sorry and it was just a mistake that he did that. He said it was meant for someone else.

Tried to get it removed and it would not even let him go through the process saying there was no bad feedback eligible for the revision policy. meaning that the post was already on there.

Just had to eat that one.

The Low dsr are from the holidays and usps slow delivery and usps lost 3 pkgs. Even though I handled it very very professionally and with much attention, Buyers still gave low stars on delivery time. It was very very frustrating :rant:

DRP is complete CRAP ! , i had 3.9/5 for Postage and handling charges yet Postage and Handling was FREE on all my auctions :pound::smash:

You can not apply a dsr rating if the shipping is free it automatically awards 5 stars and is greyed out to the buyer so they can not score it. So you must have done some selling withpaid shipping.

Yeah, free shipping is automatic 5 star. Somebody is fibbing. :heh:

Not that new - about 1.5-2 years old - auto 5 star for free shipping.

KingRay's method is correct but there is a more exacting way to do it. Basically it's a step by step process of finding 10 listing numbers that all left you 5 stars in every category.

Once you do that, save the listing numbers in word or whatever (Ebay does not save them for you when you make a report).

Then if you have an inkling that someone dinged you take those 10 perfect listings and add the one you are suspicious about.

Yes, it's against rules to mention it to the buyer but I do this for many reasons.

One, you might find trends. Buyers of certain products can be crazier than others for whatever reason.

One trend I found is that on one id every single buyer in Brazil left me poor star ratings. I have since stopped shipping to Brazil which has taken out a lot of stress.

Another thing is that it's just nice to know that the A-hole that said "Great seller 5 Stars!" Actually left you 3 stars in every category. This was a one time thing and it was the weirdest time I have ever gotten a low star rating from someone. I couldn't believe it and never imagined it was them.

So I blocked them. Usually, people that leave low ratings (in my experience) are people that buy my cheaper products. So good riddance. I'm not going to jump through hoops and worry about 3 star ratings for an item that I paid a dollar for and sold for 2 dollars :rolleyes:

That is the best way, Just didnt figure I could explain the perfect 10 method in enough detail for people to figure it out.

I can narrow any of them down. anyone can as long as you have a listing with (10) perfect 5 DSR's in it to add to the one you want to check.

Wow... does anyone else have such experience with Brazilian buyers?
I have a few of them buying from me but I don't know what their feedback is.
If they tend to leave low DSRs, then I rather block them too.

That's the thing with shipping internationally. When I do, I charge high shipping rates to make sure Fedex or so is used - only way I can be certain.

I tried to do that but it said they can only generate a report if at least 10 of that item sold.
I have been doing auctions, so one per item number.
Is there any way I can find out who left the low DSRs in my case?

Wouldn't that take a big hit with your postage DSR if an international buyer bought it?

For sure - but if the buyer UNDERSTANDS the shipping and is chill with it then they are likely to leave positive feedback. If the buyer is useless and not cooperative, I wont do the transaction.

How would you know that?
The buyers buy and pay as normal...
They may be nice people, they may be assholes.
When they leave feedback, it may be nice, it may be bad.
You will only know then, but too late.

I'm sure if we all could know which buyers are the assholes before the transaction, we all would rather lose the sale than have a problem or damage.
