| ebayhateluv | 07-08-2008 09:10 AM | HI:
Off Topic alittle--but a friend of mine has Solved his Bad Buyer Dilemma..
But he is a Pc Programmer, and knows pcs/ etc.
Apparently--he is able to send ebay emails from his "buyers" accounts somehow--requesting a removal without the buyer knowing??
Sounds weird..but I saw the screen shot.. :) |
| badebay | 07-08-2008 10:22 AM | Thats amazing they removed the amicable withdraw form now as well. thats news to me. more flak for sellers then. thats so naff. guess it cos sellers cant leave neg feedback anymore so there is no need of it. SO STUPID EBAY |

| badebay | 07-09-2008 02:58 AM | My god . sellers have to use a defamatory claim for now. god almighty, they will be tied up for ages . thats the maddest a thing i have ever heard. i recon a lot of big sellers who can afford a lawyer might. but small sellers will not if its hard to proove beyond reasonable doubt. with concorete evidence/ that leaves small time sellers who rely on ebay for a wage exposed to unfair practices. and a errosion of the basic human rights. thats so symptomatic of the way society is heading . I know of 4 larger sellers who have quit ebay shop to use there own websites because of the new feedback system. i have no idea how many others have quit |
| ebayhateluv | 08-23-2008 07:45 PM | HI Guys..
I think it maybe that some info is more sensitive than others??
ANyhow-- I try to help anyone if i know the answer..
I am not aware of a way to remove buyers neg fb, as of this writing, unless it falls within ebays rules + regs--i.e. swear words involved in the fb,
buyer is a scam srtist and you can proove it'
buyer has been suspended early in his ebay membership,etc.. |
| mantisinc | 08-24-2008 10:46 AM | Also - if the buyer does not communicate with you before feedback is left, your account manager will ususally get the feedback removed.
Happened twice for me now. |
| First Edition | 08-25-2008 07:36 PM | Please, do tell. |
| vetus | 08-26-2008 12:28 AM | Yes please do tell |
| mantisinc | 08-26-2008 01:30 PM | I may have said this before (I think), but if a buyer has not contacted you before leaving neg feedback - you will be on grounds to get the feedback removed.
Before they leave feedback, they have to tick a box agreeing they have contacted the seller to try and sort the issue before leaving feedback.
Drop ebay an email, and they should remove the comment. Worked for me on more than 1 occasion. |
| mantisinc | 08-26-2008 01:37 PM | Feel free to say that. But it's worked for me after I read someone mention it on the PS discussion board.
Take a read on there, if you're in disbelief. |
| Jonas | 08-28-2008 12:07 AM | Account managers...
These people sometimes even delete an entire sold listing for people to prevent feedback from people left. |
| mariedraper | 08-28-2008 04:33 PM | Negative FB SO In my other post, I stated I recieved a negative after she told me to file a mutual withdrawl. SHe told me she was not going to pay and since she did not want the unpaid strike, she told me to file the withdrawl. STUPID on MY part, I was not thinking ahead. NOW I am left with -1 feedback. SHould I end all auctions and start all over? COuld I get it removed?? PLease help! I am so upset about this! After all the work to make the new account and now this! |
| Quasi_Mojo | 08-28-2008 05:59 PM | You might want to consult Modee about removing feedback. |
| Jonas | 08-29-2008 12:02 AM | Ah Junour again. Yeah I've seen him before a lot. He seems more likely to remove feedback than others. |
| Jonas | 08-29-2008 12:09 AM | mariedraper, that is why many countries have a policy of not giving into terrorists. Feedback on ebay for sellers is just pure terrorism at this point.
If you file a mutual withdrawl, a hostile buyer can just click no and you don't even get your final value fees back. If you file mutual withdrawls instead of unpaid strikes to please most of your non pay bidders, eBay gives you automatic letters saying you're doing fee avoidance like they think the mutual withdraws are done in collusion either to save fees with paying customers or get fees back when shilling on yourself and keep the shills alive. |
