| | | jerry0202 | 06-14-2008 10:53 PM | Feedback removal - in the modern EBAY era one buyer never pay my item and he got an unpaid strike, then this buyer leave neg feedback, can this feedback removed by ebay?if yes, how?:( |
| ebayhateluv | 06-15-2008 01:02 AM | I believe if Ive read the new fb rules, they dont allow mutual removal anymore--as far as if a buyer leaves it by MISTAKE---u can try??
ALSO--if that buyer NEVER responds to the unpaid item...they WILL remove.. :) |
| imjustme | 06-15-2008 02:43 PM | I thought if the buyer doesn't respond to the unpaid item strike, the feedback he leaves automatically gets removed? |
| TMiles | 06-15-2008 06:30 PM | No Modee, Ebay will remove any feedback from a buyer for who you file an unpaid item strike, IF the buyer does not answer the strike. It is automatic and quick. I just had this done this week. Ebay is claiming to do this more often and better to offset all the problems with the new feedback rules... |
| daowen | 06-16-2008 09:30 AM | From what I have seen of the changes if a buyer gets the unpaid notification, responds but does not respond with payment information then the strike holds and the feedback is removed.
It has to do with the new changes stating that they wanted to stop unwarranted and incorrect feedback from buyers. Example, if the buyers response in the unpaid is "I will not pay" then they get the strike and the feedback removed.

| jerry0202 | 06-24-2008 08:43 PM | Modee, can u tell me how to get buyer id suspended? even that need pay ,let me know how much u wanna for one buyer id suspend!
some buyer is really terrible, if u give them unpaid strike, they give u neg feedback, and reply your unpaid strike with some bull****. .... |
| vetus | 07-07-2008 12:25 AM | Someone has left me a bad feedback on a new account, can i get it removed or what ??? Hi Guys,
I have a new account with 6 (buying) feedback and have just started to list and some idiot has left me a horrible neutral which has lowered my score down to 85.7% He won the item, paid for it and then left the FB in the same day saying the item was broken, how ever there is no possible way he could have received the item in 1 day to overseas and because i haven't even shipped it anyway.
I have tried contacting eBay through live chat and the FB removal contact us link and they keep giving me the run around with there auto response emails, so where do i stand and what approach shall i take to get it removed?
Any help much appreciated!

| badebay | 07-07-2008 12:42 AM | if they left feedback and didnt pay then your clear for a removal. but ebay has no way of telling that they left it before you sent it. been my experience they will ignore you or send a polite . sorry but we cant remove a normal fb. you are expriencing the naff way that the fb works for sellers now and THATS why they are trying to strike over it. i recon that they will have to change the feedback for sellers . as i know two major sellers who quit ebay over it. they just use there own websites now. good luck though and i am sorry |
| vetus | 07-07-2008 01:16 AM | No way! The Little Ba***rd!
Hes having it now! |
| trg005 | 07-07-2008 03:12 AM | Don't ship the item. Let him try to say he never received it because now it is too late since he has already left feedback saying he has it in his possession. When he asks for a refund tell him as soon as he ships the item back to you, you will refund. Then block him from buying from you again. |
| badebay | 07-07-2008 03:25 AM | Yea..dont Forget To Block Anyone That Gives You A Hard Time. Im The Fastest Blocker On Ebay. Even A Rude Email Gets A Block From Me |
| GreenBean | 07-07-2008 05:16 AM | It can be risky to block a buyer on a newer ebay account. ebay expects that a seller would not know these tricks and this may cause the account to come under scrutiny. |
| badebay | 07-07-2008 06:20 AM | does bug me and i nearly pull my hair out. cenario ! wake up monday. get to work. check ebay and bang !! red one staring you in the face. check why. some idiot did it for fun or unfair reason. they dont sell anything. they dont have stocks to shift. feel like givin them a slap. thats the life on ebay |
| GreenBean | 07-07-2008 06:27 AM | Yeah. I know that feeling. It suxs. One thing, for sure, buyers can give grief big time. |
| badebay | 07-07-2008 06:30 AM | yea and you know what !! after getting a red one for an item. from a non selling idiot for fun. then sales drop down for the whole week. i think thats so unfair. how can this be right !!!! |
| GreenBean | 07-07-2008 06:34 AM | It ain't. It's ebay that causes this....as we all know. |
| badebay | 07-07-2008 06:45 AM | i think buyers should have to submit a request to an independant ( not in the pay of ebay ) arbiter or ombudsman and show good cause for leaving a neg. might put petty non sellers off trying to explain they did it for fun. then they had to proove with solid evidence. thats the way to prevent sellers from being smacked in the sales where it hurts most. ( just my opinion ) |
| vetus | 07-07-2008 08:10 AM | Thanks guys!
I think im not gonna block him yet.
He wont respond to emails but i have his phone number, is there anyway he could get it removed from his end.? If so i will call him and ask him nicely to get it removed.
Cheers guys!

| badebay | 07-07-2008 08:17 AM | you can ask him to use the amicable withdraw form. but it dont remove the nasty remark ! ( thats so unfair i know ) ask him nicely and say you have 5 kids and a huge mortgage and chickens to feed. time you have to swALLOW on ebay is anoying. just to keep your feedback even/ dam idiots. good luck. oh you can get the withdraw form from the community help page. just pop the word into the box. withdraw feedback |
| vetus | 07-07-2008 10:10 AM | Nice one badebay Cheers mate. |
| HateEbay | 07-07-2008 11:19 AM | How do you block a specific ebayer from buying in the future. I can't find anywhere under the Ebay preferences? |
| badebay | 07-07-2008 11:30 AM | got to community help page, type in box " block buyers " info should pop up. good luck !! |
| vetus | 07-08-2008 05:41 AM | Hi badebay
I cant find the amicable withdraw form anywhere, do u have a link? |
| badebay | 07-08-2008 06:40 AM | did you try typing in the box. withdraw feedback !! that should have shown you a few options. try some veriations. there is a form like that as i have used it loads. i cant get a link as im banned !! if you have a prob email help and support . good luck |
| vetus | 07-08-2008 07:22 AM | Oh so you need to be signed in, thats probably why then, i will sign in and try when i next switch user accts. |
| TMiles | 07-08-2008 08:36 AM | There is no amicable withdraw anymore on Ebay. Ebay removed the mutual feedback withdraw a few months previous... |
| ebayhateluv | 07-08-2008 09:10 AM | HI:
Off Topic alittle--but a friend of mine has Solved his Bad Buyer Dilemma..
But he is a Pc Programmer, and knows pcs/ etc.
Apparently--he is able to send ebay emails from his "buyers" accounts somehow--requesting a removal without the buyer knowing??
Sounds weird..but I saw the screen shot.. :) |
| badebay | 07-08-2008 10:22 AM | Thats amazing they removed the amicable withdraw form now as well. thats news to me. more flak for sellers then. thats so naff. guess it cos sellers cant leave neg feedback anymore so there is no need of it. SO STUPID EBAY |

| badebay | 07-09-2008 02:58 AM | My god . sellers have to use a defamatory claim for now. god almighty, they will be tied up for ages . thats the maddest a thing i have ever heard. i recon a lot of big sellers who can afford a lawyer might. but small sellers will not if its hard to proove beyond reasonable doubt. with concorete evidence/ that leaves small time sellers who rely on ebay for a wage exposed to unfair practices. and a errosion of the basic human rights. thats so symptomatic of the way society is heading . I know of 4 larger sellers who have quit ebay shop to use there own websites because of the new feedback system. i have no idea how many others have quit |
| ebayhateluv | 08-23-2008 07:45 PM | HI Guys..
I think it maybe that some info is more sensitive than others??
ANyhow-- I try to help anyone if i know the answer..
I am not aware of a way to remove buyers neg fb, as of this writing, unless it falls within ebays rules + regs--i.e. swear words involved in the fb,
buyer is a scam srtist and you can proove it'
buyer has been suspended early in his ebay membership,etc.. |
| mantisinc | 08-24-2008 10:46 AM | Also - if the buyer does not communicate with you before feedback is left, your account manager will ususally get the feedback removed.
Happened twice for me now. |
| First Edition | 08-25-2008 07:36 PM | Please, do tell. |
| vetus | 08-26-2008 12:28 AM | Yes please do tell |
| mantisinc | 08-26-2008 01:30 PM | I may have said this before (I think), but if a buyer has not contacted you before leaving neg feedback - you will be on grounds to get the feedback removed.
Before they leave feedback, they have to tick a box agreeing they have contacted the seller to try and sort the issue before leaving feedback.
Drop ebay an email, and they should remove the comment. Worked for me on more than 1 occasion. |
| mantisinc | 08-26-2008 01:37 PM | Feel free to say that. But it's worked for me after I read someone mention it on the PS discussion board.
Take a read on there, if you're in disbelief. |
| Jonas | 08-28-2008 12:07 AM | Account managers...
These people sometimes even delete an entire sold listing for people to prevent feedback from people left. |
| mariedraper | 08-28-2008 04:33 PM | Negative FB SO In my other post, I stated I recieved a negative after she told me to file a mutual withdrawl. SHe told me she was not going to pay and since she did not want the unpaid strike, she told me to file the withdrawl. STUPID on MY part, I was not thinking ahead. NOW I am left with -1 feedback.
