Buyers feedback after 10 isn't all that helpful for a sellers account. Selling some low priced common household items would be much more beneficial.

The city you live in should have a lot of Garage and Yard sales on Saturday.

Get up early with your $100. and go look for some signs.

Should be Fun and Profitable for you at the same time.

eBooks are good for getting a few feedback but don't buy too many. I once bough like 15 in the same hour and was fine but it was very risky and now I know not to do that.

If you're gonna buy some, just buy a few.

Okay thanks, but I am in a wheelchair and don't have friends or family to help. I have sold everything I have that I think might have a chance to sell. After FB goes over 10 and shows 100% I'll take a chance. EB is the greatest way for me to make a few $ to supplement my income which is only SS. SO when I get crap from people (not you) I really don't appreciate it. I just need some cheap things to buy and have run out of ideas that's why I asked.

You can create a separate buyers account with your home address and order $1 items and resell those. Just order generic items that would not be trademarked so you don't have vero problems

Just build it up slowly Joe. If you have competitors, having a large number of feedbacks does help. Customers are stupid and they don't look to see that it is only buyer feedback. It has never hurt me in the past and it has helped me push out the competition.

Start with buying 2-3 $1 Chinese items each day. After about two weeks, you can take it to 5-8 per day safely. I have done this and has been a solid technique every time. I have many accounts where the majority of feedback is just buying. If you get bored, make a ste.alth to sell all of the cheap crap you bought. Make them all auctions and not BIN. You will lose on shipping of course, but it's worth the extra bit of money to build a solid backup account.

Not really ideal to concentrate on these .99 cent goodies.

Hard to know if ebay has them 'flagged'.

I would suggest buying within a budget items of different amounts.

If your account was not stealth, would you buy .99 cent items? Not usually.

I also moved your thread to the EBAY FEEDBACK subforum.
We have had plenty of posts about this.

Keep in mind to look real, go slowly and Good Luck

From my personal experience. I like to get my accounts going early on. I actually do prefer to spend 2 or 3 months buying cheap stuff to get some buyer feedback. I usually have some non selling accounts on the side for when I need to get them going. You still need to sell slowly and sell low risk items when do you start selling. But I do personally encourage people to have backup accounts that they have just bought some cheap stuff on going to get some feedback for when that day comes that you do need to start another Selling Account. I agree it isn't going to make your account much better when you first start selling but the more history you have transacting on eBay at any level the better.

Also i usually get sports cards, usb cords, iphone cords/plugs/covers etc. There are some cheap sports cards you buy for like $1.00 shipped. Those probably won't cause any triggers. But I agree buying lots of digital goods, eBooks etc for .99 cents could cause some kind of feedback manipulation or something. The point is always to try to seem as real as possible even when buying $1.00 items.

To be safe, dont touch eBooks and digital things. OP, you dont need so many feedbacks to get yourself going....10 is ok then get selling like TGMT² stated

Most buyers don't even look at feedback details when >98%.

I also buy 2-3 items a day from Chinese sellers ($1-$3). I don't go too crazy I just want enough feedback to list BIN and do 1 day listings. I also don't touch digital goods.

Don't go cheap. It takes money to make money. Typical online purchases are not a dollar or two. Buy things in the range of $4-$30 until you get 10 feedback. Wait 30 days from creation and then you can sell to your limits. This will get you off to a good start in maturing your stealths for regular increase and longevity ( or permanence).

Why not sell all those items you purchased for buyer feedback?

That is what I will do but don't want to buy junk. I want to buy stuff that will sell quickly.

I have sold 5 items on my new stealth and left feedback as soon as I shipped which is usually within 12 hours and not 1 has left me fb even after I sent a polite casual follw up. Not sure if I leave fb before buyer does if there is any incentive? If you have never sold on eb I don't think buyers are aware of how important it is.

I not leaving anymore fb until the buyer does and try that on my other stealth acct. I always send a follow up thank you a few days after they have received the item and I have not gotten any fb.

There's a topic on leaving feedback to buyers, about a month old.

There are some buyers who actually wait for the sellers feedback, and the last thing you want to do is piss a buyer off for something stupid.

Not leaving feedback is pointless, just risking an angry buyer.
You'll run into many buyers who don't leave feedback, yeah its annoying, but just move on.

If anything, I've had this done to a couple of my buyers on a stealth account,
buyers :2 weeks later - no feedback --
I'll send them a message,
" the money you sent me is frozen, being a new seller here on eBay, it wont unfreeze unless you leave a positive feedback, if you feel you are unsatisfied with the product please let me know as I'll resolve the issue for you. " -- something along those lines...

I think I learned that in my 1st mktg. job. My boss told me to be real careful when I send an email because there is a "forward" button on them. I consider this the same application.

Do you need feedback for a BIN? Because I have listed many items for BIN with zero feedback. Hmmmm.

Buy shipping supplies to build feedback, so you can use them later

Yes, I figured that out. I just didn't want to jinx myself. It seemed like I always seemed to get linked just after I was feeling a little relief and had just paid fees and reordered small amt. of supplies, and fast approaching or just cleared >90 days. But it's one second at a time on EB & PP world. Never know just try to be prepared and have ace ina hole.
Thank you to all who offer real solutions to an omnipotent problem.
You know I wanted to say "omnipotent foe" and I didn't. I shoulda,it's just like playing cops & robbers when I was a kid. Just a whole lot more serious, because this has a very serious impact on my daily quality of life. I feel like the cop or something cause I know they are the robbers for sure. My fees to sell my $1k limit this month were $116 just EB, doesn't count PP, you do the math I did.
