Any creative ideas how to promote your items on Ebay?

Did anyone think of how to make your listings stand up more?... now that we can't pay for Featured or Featured Plus? It can get very frustrating if you are selling in categories where there is huge competition since people can mostly find what they are looking for on few first pages...

Hey Lyda, How's it going?

There are several ways I do it to boost visibility without paying extra.
Try listing with a 3 day duration multiple times in the same category Then do the same for 5 - 7 - and 10 days Duration. This will be more visible when people search as Newly Listed or Ending Soonest.
Always Use CAPITOL LETTERS in the Title description.
Your First Gallery picture should be taken with your item in front of a bright color background Example Bright Red, Yellow and Green. This way will bring out attention to your listing when scrolling down the list of hundreds or maybe thousands of items in the category.

You can get the colorful backgrounds by using your own bright T-Shirts that you have at home if your item is small. If your item is medium size then you can buy Bright Color poster boards at the Drugstore. If your item is Large then you can buy Bright Color Fabric by the yard at walmart. You get the idea..

I started putting borders around a few items (picture border) and bumped the cost up a bit to help cover the first.
I noticed I sold more with the picture border then I did without the border.

I agree with the border. It's visually more appealing for many suckers, oops,buyers. Having the border makes everything look professional
