Linked by selling the same items

I have successfully sold some items that are technically vero, but seem to slip under the radar for going on 6 years now. I am one of a handful sellers of these items on ebay. I would like to go steath to start selling additional items. I figure I can use these safe items to build my seller status to around 50 to make my riskier items sell better. Do you guys think I will be linked based off the items I am selling and due to the fact that my IP will be different but obviously in the same city? Obviously I will change up my listings and pics and design, etc, but will simply selling a specific item get you linked?

Catch22, imho. The item is going well for you and does what it is meant to do, make money on ebay. So why tip the scales with using the item on a new account?
A new listing might be the very one that makes a competitor report you. A new listing might be the one that gets pick-up by ebay bots.
Is it worth damage to a new account and by virtue of the item's nature bringing attention to you other good account? Ah, no I don;t think so.

GB, thank you for your help and reply! I guess I should have mentioned the fact that my access to these items is going very fast. They are low cost so they are a perfect item for building up feedback, it would seem. I have several hundred (thousand?) on hand to build feeback on my stealth accounts. And cross my fingers but the competition on this particular item doesn't seem to be as savvy as alot of the aspkiners, I'm pretty sure reporting me will not happen & since me and 3 of my buddies (in different states) all sell this same product if one of us gets popped...ITS WAR!
