Default Offering gift to remove negative feedback.

A customer left negative feedback and didn't even try to contact me. I know with Amazon that you can not bribe a customer for them to remove negative feedback. Is this the same with Ebay?

It is. You can offer to solve there problems, but not directly bribe them with something free.

Initial step is to contact the customer and address the concerns. eB's messaging allows for nice and clear communication - or you can toss an email

on eBay you only have 5 "Feedback Revision" per every 1000 items sold. Now I just don't even care.

You have to use them very carefully.

Look at why it happened in the first place. Make sure it could be avoided again.

Bear in mind you have a limited amount of feedback revisions. Make the choice to use them wisely. 5 feedback per 1000 needs to be used carefully.

If you decide against revising, then you reply to their comment:

Sadly, no contact from buyer. We resolve ALL issues with communication.

Use your feedback revisions with care - buyers may change negative to neutral, which is not really helpful

Depends on the comments. I would much rather have a neutral than a negative. Not sure if eBay Canada is different.

I know what you mean vogeltron but while the neutral looks good, it still counts negatively on your account...(in eB's seller account analysis).
