Default Does ebay even care about the sellers???

Sold and item, buyer never paid and left me negative feedback calling me a scam artist. I have been on ebay since 1998 with a 100% track record.

I called ebay and provided all the proof that I did nothing wrong (history is in paypal and ebay messages...buyer even ADMITTED he left negative feedback out of spite).

I have an SR number from ebay...you think they'd do anything to help? Nope! I've spoken with ebay reps FOUR TIMES now and they will NOT remove the negative feedback. WTF...does my reputation mean nothing??? Why does ebay go to such lengths to support the buyer and their scams but does relatively nothing to protect the seller? I can't even leave the buyer negative feedback.

I'm about ready to close my account and just deal with cash buyers on CL. This really pisses me off!

Bro ebay is terrible. Now they only favor big sellers (companies who sell using their platform) they dont care about small private sellers. Terrible times

Did you tell ebay that he did not pay? Usually they remove it then.

Odd story - what messages has eB e-mailed back to you?

It can be annoying but in your stance, I would keep trying but also consider building new accounts.

Sad to say this is the typical experience with eBay these days. If it makes you feel any better (misery loves company) I just got scammed by a guy in Ukraine for $40. Too bad I cannot leave feedback to warn future sellers about this guy. Ridiculous system when you get right down to it.

Best thing you can do is report the guy to eBay. Then bitch about the negative feedback to them hopefully you have some kind of tracking. I had two feedback removed for some idiot who tried to claim I only sent him one of two items he purchased. I had a receipt and history of sending one item one way and two items the other way. I told eBay to look through his reputation and that I had been a reputable seller for so long and allowing people to leave feedback like this is no way to build a trustworthy community. If I made a mistake I would own up to it but I don't deal with people running scam jobs. They removed two negatives about 3-4 days later.

Ebay, PayPal, Amazon, Yelp, Angies List, etc... and every site that sells products, services, reviews, could care Less about Sellers.

Without Buyers they have nothing. Why do you think they all have some sort of Buyer Guarantee?

There will always be Sellers, they're like buses, if you miss one another is right behind it.

If you filed a non paying buyer case and they don't pay after 4 days and you close it any feedback is removed. Did you do this?

But that's the point... Expensive items are too risky. On a $40 item it's like hitting a speed bump but you can keep going without losing too much sleep. Now $400 item is a different story. That would be a lot of misery.
