Default eBay fee

Okay so, I'm new on eBay and I only use it to buy small items. Recently I decided to sell my laptop and I have it on sale for over a month. Twice by now someone contacted me that they want to buy my laptop but they didn't pay the first time so I removed the Item. Then I put it on sale again and the same buyer offered me money for the laptop but still didn't pay. I decided to open an unpaid case and that moment eBay charged me with nearly $50 and they said something like the buyer delete the account... I don't remember well, my English is not good. But now I'm viewing my account summary and it says "new activity yet not invoiced:" and an amount with red color and then "current balance:" and the same amount. It would be really helpful if someone replies and let me know how can I avoid to pay this fee and what's the danger of not paying it, I find it unfair since I haven't sold my item...

The $50 fee will most likely go away before your actual invoice is ready for the month. I wouldn't worry yet.

You should call eBay and explain this to them, and I´m sure they can help you out.

I would do this. Their fee processing is very slow when you cancel and item or close an UPI, I've had some not be credited until the next billing cycle.
