Activity: 0% Longevity: 99% | | How to avoid EBAY fees, also how not to pay them after suspension
I want to dispute the seller fees for a few months back because ebay accused me of something I didn't do (abusing ebay). I want to give it to ebay since it accused me of it.
I know it's not ethical, but I want to give them a little lesson. My question is can I win this? Even for the fees a few months ago.

I don't see why not. Just call up your credit card company and file a dispute with eBay. Just say no service received for the fees you paid; like your auctions were taking down. I've seen it work in the past.

Got it. Thanks. Did you dispute fees for several months ago or just previous month?

Just be aware that nowadays credit card companies are far less consumer oriented. They tend to side with the merchant. Also, you will have to come up with some coherent argument for why the charge is invalid. And you may need to respond more than once. I told them that the charges were for auction fees, and that EBAY had cancelled my account and pulled all my listings so I owed nothing since I had received nothing. In essence.
Just telling them that you did not abuse EBAY so you did not deserve to be kicked off is too nebulous an argument, and really has nothing to do with why you don't owe the fees. | If I file a complaint with CC I need to mention my real address, right?
Then I am afraid ebay can find me and send to collectors (I still didn't pay the last bill and I am not going to do this). I used ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info, so they can't find me now.

Ah Credit card disputes, I've only had to do it once, but it took about 2 months of fighting to get back the credit. I probably had to do 5 different faxes on BS polices and refunds, and lack of product etc. crap. Not related to eBay. For eBay it's much easier if you're using prepaid cards. EBay can't take what you don't have. And they can't track you down when your information is bogus. Would I want to be eBay? Nah, I'm not that evil.

If you use a gift card with bogus address, how can you use it if ebay suspend your account? It has different address and name than yours.

Activity: 0% Longevity: 98% | | Chargeback against ebay fees question
After faxing every known ebay fax number on google, I got back on today. Well I already had a chargeback against my ebay fees so..... I wonder what to do about the chargeback. Especially since I was able to get all non paying items put into unpaid disputes.

Sorry I was confused with your wording. I would just cancel the chargeback before eBay suspends the account for non-payment.

Activity: 0% Longevity: 98% | | Account owes $100 in fees. eBay put it on hold but won't suspend
It took ebay a month of "your credit card is declined" and then sent regular "your account is on hold" emails, but they still haven't suspended the account of mine that owes them $100 in fees that I made as a test and then abandoned.
Will they ever suspend it for not paying or will they merely keep it on hold so it can't sell?

Logic tells me that they understand people have temporary money troubles. The site does say that for suspensions due to non payment, these are reinstated after payment. Its my assumption but not my experience

They want you to pay the balance, and continue buying and selling with them. It's in there interest, thus they give you time. If they suspend you right away, who's going to want to pay a balance after that?

ebay says they will go and leech the money from your paypal account, of which paypal won't let you file disputes on. If I have a linked paypal account and it's balance is 0, but it has a credit card on it will ebay get the credit card charged? Also if I beforehand remove the credit card (never had anything else) will ebay charge the card through paypal anyway? I've heard of paypal charging removed credit cards and removed bank accounts from paypal if someone has a negative balance.

Ebay will definately snatch any money that they have access to! Even if you've never paid fees from your bank account and even if you have not authorized any , EVER!
After being suspended , then 2nd account getting linked and suspended after several months....my fees were paid in full on the 2nd account..both accounts suspended indefinately and had not been used for a month...Ebay takes 110.00 outta my bank account. No Emails, no payment due emails , no thank you for the 110.00 emails! I filed an unauthorized charge and closed my bank account.! I got my money back and then started getting emails asking me to update account info, then payment due, then account suspension! I do not know what that was all about because I would not open the emails!
Never trust Ebay or Paypal to play fair!Just because you think you remove any credit card or info from those accounts doesnt mean that it's really gone!

Turn off pictures in your browser or if you use an offline mail reader, disconnect your modem then read and then what do they say?
Also if you owe fees on account 1, and they can't get them, and ebay links you to account 2 and account 2 has a working payment, will ebay suck the money owed on account 1 from account 2?

It's not a good idea to start scamming other people with your eBay fees. Just let eBay whine about the fees, don't make other people suffer because of eBay.

Activity: 0% Longevity: 97% | | How do you NOT pay eBay fees?
I'm going to try this out but before I do I want to make sure I got it right .
1) Basically when registering my seller account I add my prepaid credit card / gift card information.
2) When this has been accepted and I am selling on eBay I empty the card of funds.
3) Then when eBay charges me for their fees it will not go through. Right?
So... how long can I go without paying? Will the credit card company charge me for eBays failed withdraws?
