Default Outstanding eBay fees on suspended account What to do?

Here's the situation. Ebay is suspended indefinitely and same goes for paypal. I owe ebay 219 bux. Paypal is negative 218 right now because of holds due to buyer's disputes. Ebay and paypal has my real info and pp has my ssn.

Should I just pay it and take the loss or there's a way to just let it go since pp is pretty much holding about $700 after the holds are released. What you guys think? Please let me know. I just want to make sure my credit will not get dinged if I do decide to just let it be since both pp/ebay pretty much screwed me over.

Thanks for your help.

If you owe the fees an paypal is holding funds for buyers then that is your debt to pay. You need to go ahead and pay them. You arent going to be out anything. You spent the paypal money and sold items to get fees. You are pretty much ON the hook for that money. You will be hounded by collections agencies for a long time if you dont.

I would not take a credit bite over that much.

ok some of the paypal hold has been released so my paypal account is now on the positive $300. The ebay account is still outstanding $219 and I would pay it using the paypal money but it wont let me. Would leaving the ebay outstanding hurt my credit? Just wondering. Thanks

Yes, It would be like any utility or something that you let go. Pay it off. You racked up the fees right?

yea. my question is that is there a way for ebay to take the paypal funds as payment just as how it was set up prior to suspension? I ask since there's money in paypal that i can't touch so might as well use it to pay ebay fees like they do every month.

If you could login, you could go to My Ebay and under the account tab, scroll down 3/4 to see "Make a One Time Payment using Paypal or Another Method"

Dunno if this will work but maybe if you contact EBAY by phone they will allow you to login once to make payment

.

i could log in to both ebay and paypal. but it tried to automatic pay it with paypal but was reversed due to paypal being limited. i tried to manually pay it via paypal and it won't allow it as well b/c of the limitation.

just wondering if there's any way around this instead of me forking up the cash up front that i really don't have. i wish i can just use the money sitting on paypal to pay for the ebay fees. any other suggestions? thanks

Pa yp al being limited means it's ineffective for eb ay fees. The problem - as you stated - is that they have your real info and SSN so I would NOT risk a credit history affect game on their part (And they WILL do it). You have a credit card? Make a one time payment and pay it off - that will take care of eb ay.

As for pa yp al, let the disputes finish, do whatever you have to do, and see what is left. Needless to say, you are prob done with pp and eb (although your eb account may survive).

There is really no other alternative. Your pp can not release funds to pay eb - even if the invoice is there. I have tried it - it sux =(

All the best.

No, not doable. paypal is LIMITED. Means there is a limitation as to what services can be done with it. And this method does not work.

OP will need to pay by an different method. (Hence a sound reason for NEVER paying fees with paypal.)

Umm if he cares about his credit he will. Although he could dispute it with eBay once its on his report. Any earlier they would know its him. EBay has no proof its really him unless he put a confirmed card or bank. PayPal is another story they have his Ssn.. if it was me I'd pay it.not worth all that hassle if you had that much in fees you sold at least 3k you can afford it... and start over heh
