Suspended due to Non payment

Hi,
My paypal was limited and they asked for plenty of documents which I never provided. It was a legit account but I was not comfortable with providing them my ID. Anyways, today they suspended my account due to non-payment. I owe them around 1800$. I am not sure if I pay those charges, i would be reinstated or not
If I do not pay, would they send it to collection agency hurting my credit ?

What do you suggest in this case ?

If you never provided ID and such, I would think your account is gone even if you pay those fees.

For what happens if you don't pay the fees I really do not know. Someone else here can advise on that.

If it was ur real account than u can guarantee letters and calls from creditors looking to collect

I am clearing up the fees. Its around 5k in total but thats alright
I just want to clear my self and make sure I do not owe any one money. About my money with Paypal, it will take few more months. So till then I have to wait !

Yes pp in Canada can go after your credit by taking you to collections - not always 100% but for 1.8k owed....I can see it happening.

It is not your money if you owe ebay fees. You agreed to pay your bills and any money on sold products that went into paypal is not rightfully yours until all fees/refunds etc are paid.

We never want to see anyone stiff ebay for fees as it only makes it worse on those who pay the fees.

You used their services and you owe them money.

Yes, even in Ca I see them coming after the money and ruining your credit.

Not worth it, pay the fees owed and move on.
