Default Credit/Debit never went through...should i still pay?

one of my accounts was banned about two-three weeks ago. I was notified that my ebay selling fees were due. They try charging my credit card but it never went through and was declined. I think b/c the address i put on there is ⊗⊗⊗⊗ (but the name is real).

I owe them $150 in selling fees. Can i just avoid the seller fee? Will they try to charge another way like through PP?

Just block any ebay transactions from your cc. If you have them blocked then they shouldn't be able to take any money out.

If you do have a paypal account linked to the ebay account then ebay will try and take the money out from there to cover your selling fees.

Yes, but on the safe side cancel the credit card that you placed on ebay. Report it lost is the fastest and easiest way so that ebay can't charge you. Oh and they can charge your card even if the name and addy is different.

What if my Paypal account is limited? I have $2000 thats being held for 180 days. So lets say i close my bank account, will they also try to take the money from the $2000 thats still being held in paypal?

Closing bank account is no big deal, i can always add a new one once the 180 days are up. Its the $2000 thats being held i dont want ebay to touch.

I've never had a credit card company where the bank can selectively block certain companies. I've asked a few, too. The best you can do is change the number. You should also have multiple cards for sorting payments so you don't have to redo all your auto pay when you change your card number.

Better to just ask them to change the card's number than to cancel it all together. The card boosts your credit limit which helps your credit score.
