Yes it was stealth. The account received an MC011 restriction and the funds were put on hold instead of being paid out. So far this happened on 3 accounts, one of them being on hold for as long as 2 months.

Have you received any funds from a stealth that was banned? I didn't get MC011 but funds randomly stopped coming into the bank.

In 2019 I received an MC011 on a Managed Payments account, and they did release my funds to me without any issue or holds. Unfortunately it seems times have changed...


From the three accounts that have their funds on hold due to a selling restriction/suspension, none have had their funds released yet. I am continuing to monitor them to see if/when eBay decides to release them into my bank account. Fingers crossed..

Did you contact customer service? I'm debating if I should try contacting customer service or not, maybe it will expedite the process. It's still letting me sell items. I have $2,500 available, but payout is on hold since 1/28/2021. Very frustrating.

I contacted customer service and was told by two different reps I would get my funds in 21 days. That was a lie.

Was this because they re-reviewed stealth docs? Did they send an email to say funds were released? Or were they automatically released after 3 months

Automatically released, no action taken on my part to resolve the selling restriction.

What does it matter if it's stealth? In terms of payouts. Didnt they verify your bank account in order to get through MP verify anyway. The only thing that matters is the bank account and matching the responsible person for regulatory purposes. Paypal has nothing to do with it. Payments dont even go to paypal they are funneled through MP....

I got the same message exactly 5 days ago, and I haven't understood why and they are still holding....Have had numerous coms with ebay reps all the way up to security level because of a separate issue with a buyer literal threatening me and using other "language" in open ebay messages,.....and in the back/forth I asked the reps about the payments and on received instructions etc on the threat.

Leave to ebay to screw the best volume of business they have ever seen, just why would they even bother with the back/forth AND why continue to allow all operations to keep going if they are going to suspend anyway?

I just thought it was a 1 day volume type deal.

Just got this myself ... but not stealth ebay. It was stealth but converted to my real details at the MP conversion portal.

I can't see any reason why they would want to get rid of me (other than the fact i was banned years ago), pristine feedback / good CS to all of my buyers / 0 open cases and no one ever asks for a refund !

The 3 month hold you had sounds like a 90 day automated hold rather than paypals 180 day.

Just to add on, verification completed within 18 hours and accounts back to normal now with scheduled payout for tomorrow.

Nothing. I haven't sent in any ID's or statements.

Verified via electoral roll / credit check & bank verified via trustily

All real previously banned details ! Depending on how trivial your initial ban was I am 100% sure they are giving good sellers a second chance.

I think MP is turning more and more into new paypal with occasional delays of payout with manual review , sudden suspension if turnover shot up etc.

I would not be surprised if they rename it into something like "ebay payments" at some point and add the usual paypal features to it

I got same issue.
Your payouts have been temporarily placed on hold while we review some details. Please allow up to 5 days for this review to take place.

You'll be notified if we need further information. If there are no further concerns, your payouts will be unblocked.

This temporary block will not impact your regular operations (listings/selling).

So you have received the money on all your MP accounts which got blocked? right?

I got the same message and the red banner on payments page. After five days everything is back to normal.

Essentially, all they're doing is holding your money for a period of time to make sure it's not being refunded or disputed.
