it says you will be unable to create new listings when I check so I am hoping it allows existing ones to continue. Usa threads mention it does for them but we soon find out for uk.

I am in the US and fixed price listings did NOT continue to relist. They relisted once or twice after the deadline then would not anymore.

Once or twice meaning 30 day or 60 day max?
What happens then do they suspend your account? One concern I have is I have sales history for years which is buyer confidence so that would go if they end the listings.

I've been using a stealth Ebay account for almost 7 years (since 2014). No real info attached.
My account was suspended under that stupid DSR rating thing. That account was a good standing one with 100% feedback for 11 years, until I had an injury that caused about 2 months of being "slower". I did my very best to communicate with all my buyers to no avail. Ebay just didn't care.
I only sell in my spare time, usually only have 100-115 listings at a time, just vintage collectibles that I get from estate sales.
I am TERRIFIED of how to switch to MP, so I've been reading a lot on here.
I was told the same, Dec 31 deadline. I'm still having current listings sell. They're all set as PayPal pymts.
I haven't tried to list anything since January 1st because I figured I wouldn't be able to until I get converted over to MP.
I just now tried to "revise" one of my listings and it DID let me do it.

Received my first MP missed deadline registration warning earlier this week.

It said my ability to create/edit listings "will be disabled" but did not specify a date.

Nothing happens.. if you run GTC.. just stay the course if you choose not to upgrade, just let your stock run out, or update your stock if you can, sometimes itallows it, sometimes it doesn't.

Well I am running GTC and the deadline was the 18th January. Everything is working as before.... for now anyway.

Yeah, my deadline is Jan 25th.
I'm putting ALL I can on.
I don't know where to go after this. Maybe Etsy?
Somewhere where I can use my real info.
It's sad really because I've done real well for the last 7 years.
I'm still the same person they decided wasn't good enough back then because of that stupid DSR crap.

I received one last notice from ebay about MP and that I need to sign up by 1/22/21, however, that was not the last day...they gave me until 1/26/21. When I got up that morning, I tried to revise, and I could not and had the RED Selling Suspension Warning. So from October, to now, ( 3 months) I was given notice before I could no longer list, revise or edit.

Any items that you may have up for bid will run their course until the time is up and that is it until you sign up for MP. Keep your prices low and offer Buy it Now low to move inventory if you need to. Offers will still be accepted.

Once your items run out of time...that is it.

Oh no that's not good :(. Did you get any notice at all saying they would suspend your account or did they only keep saying you wouldn't be able to make any new listings?

They can't suspend your account, just your selling privileges until you activate managed payments. Then you can sell again. Am I wrong?

I just got emails on 2 on my accounts. after the initial emails warning me to sign up for MP, that i ignored. My listings stayed active but wasn't able to create or modify anymore. Good till cancelled kept getting renewed every month. These new emails say to sign up for MP or they'll remove my good till cancelled listings. I have a month. Kiss those 2 good-bye

My account got suspended (MC011), along with the removal of all of my listings, a few days before my MP deadline. I successfully appealed & got my account restored, but by then, my MP deadline had passed and I could not relist without signing up for MP (which I still haven't done.)

eBay using dirty tactics to force people onto MP.

Anybody else happened the same?, they can't suspend your account for not getting into MP.
How did you get your account reinstated, by call?, what did they say?
