Re: Isn't ebay going to go out of business due to Managed Payments?

Ebay is not growing,so having its own payment processor will raise its revenue and profit.
Paypal makes money on transaction fee 30 cents when it only pays 10 cents and discount rate of 2.9% when it only pays 1-1 1/2 %
and it makes money on cross border transaction 4.4%,foreign exchange conversion.
but Paypal is also tired of serving Ebay as there are too many squabbles, disputes, chargeback, appeal .

Ebay junk yard and paypal is scam company and cannot be compared to any others. The reason they got so big is because they are scammers. Now they want to look legit With MP. Its not going to work they will have allot of problems with this new change. They did this in the middle of collapsing world economy.

Not going to lie but I do all of my serious shopping is on Amazon just because it's next day delivery or same day and I know if I need to return, it's a guaranteed 110% refund with no questions asked.

Thats why I pay for prime.

I rarely buy on ebay anymore but do all of my selling on there so I still have to wish they prosper as I need buyers or my business is finished.

Lol, I buy 100% of non-food items from Amazon these days.

The convenience can't be ignored. :)

I don't pose this question as a scammer. I am a legitimate seller, and have had very profitable ebay accounts in a great selling position, great feed back, above standard, high limits, etc etc closed for no reason. I wish they would tell me why they are closing my account. It makes no sense. I am all for weaning out the scammers. But I am asking about the legitimate sellers like myself that keep hitting a wall and getting shut down buy ebay for what appears to be no real reason.

You have to understand ebay and paypal are scammers they lie steal and cheat. The reason is simple the owner of this company is lair and scammer. They will do illegal unethical things to you. As Scammer company they try to hire scammers or stupid slaves to work for them. They don't care about sellers

You still can sell random junk. They don't require an SSN at initial setup. At least not from what I'm seeing...
