MP - microdeposits!!!

Ebay says that the waiting period to get microdeposits is 1 to 3 working days.
I have been waiting for more than 10 days.
What happens if you don t get them?
How do you verify the bank then?
Anybody experienced the same problem?

Are you sure your bank acc is alive and accepts currency of deps?

Yes. I asked the bank if I can use it for ebay payments and they confirmed.

If you can’t verify via Micro Deposits than you need to provide a bank statement.

It's not really a problem for some accounts.

You'll never receive the micro deposits and your bank doesn't accept direct debit. You'll be able to start receiving payouts very soon with no bank verification at all. Just ignore the red banner, that is what the eBay rep told me.

don't listen to every moron working for ebay. you are only good if your payouts are scheduled and there are no red banners. if there is a red banner you can't ignore it. if you do they will stop payouts at some point

I signed up for managed payments manually entering the bank details instead of logging in. What does it mean if you don't receive the microdeposits? I received my first payout, does that mean it automatically links the account without the microdeposit?

it is 100% guaranteed that payouts will stop if you were asked to receive micro deposits but did not enter them for whatever reason and continued receiving payouts. If you do not get a red banner asking for anything then you are good to go but any red banner means that attention is required urgently

I submitted the bank statement while registering for managed payments but didn't receive the micro deposits, I have have the red banner stating they can't verify my details for my stealth details. Does that mean my bank statement didn't pass verification?

that means they know the details are stealth and you will soon be suspended

• Account number

I had the same, added details and id, they said they are unable to verify, i added again, and id was accepted somehow.

Some bank accounts are refusing it here in the UK. You might need to switch to a higher tier account or switch banks entirely.

If your bank refuses it, eBay will allow you to request another.

Your payout will eventually stop if you don't submit the micro-deposits or verify with a bank account. I don't see any reason to wait until that happens.

Life would be easier if your bank avails your statement in PDF format.

the problem is that you don't if the ID was accepted until you have sold for a longer period of time or for larger amounts

Same thing here with BG banks, some of them refused the micro deposits.

Some BG members have received emails to upload bank statement, some don't. Some have uploaded it and some don't. All of them are receiving payouts. Accounts registered on all of the eBay platforms.

The problem is that the red banner was active prior ID/bank verification and after that. We don't know for sure if the bank is successfully verified or not. I'm prepared with PDF but following the rule, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I have had experience with a big bank not accepting microdeposits but there should be a way to reach out. Look into banks where you can create multiple online accounts (way2save, free checking, student accounts, etc.) this has helped me immensely.
