Not a long term solution? Howe many decades has it worked on paypal?

I have had HUNDREDS of banned adyen accounts on the same name and SS number... Get banned and make a new account the same day.... for five years now.

You can have 5 identical MP accounts using the same exact name, address, phone number, bank account.... Now start mixing up addresses and bank accounts and hundreds are possible with the same name and SS

Now have corporations, etc...

But if you sell a good product, offer good service and dont cross VERO lines or items forbidden by ebay and you should loose very few accounts in a lifetime.

Anyways, I wish everyone good luck, except the scammers. They make the rest of us look bad.

ebay create new rules on the go , I doubt they will allow unlimited accounts in the same name in long term

Time will tell..... and really, who cares? Who other than dead beat rip off sellers need unlimited accounts?

I thing most everyone is good with 10 or even 5 and build more as needed. Especially with MP where you can hammer out sales instantly. No need for warming them up like the old paypal BS.

talk about warm up, got aproved by ebay/payo and soon after I list my first item I get;

literally i did nothing besides listing that item, cant figure what they mean by "activity that we believe is a risk to our community". they dont provide any easy followup neither..

Does this sound familiar for anyone creating MP accounts?

what is the country of registration?

how soon was it restricted after listing the item?

It´s a south american country. About 1 or 2 hours afterwards

I bet I was one of the most worried about MP on this entire forum. I tend to overthink things, but in reality I like it without having Paypal.

The business seller who was already focusing on a select few accounts thrives in this environment. Those who had a hard drive of eBay back up accounts obviously can't handle this and thats a good thing. If you had to burn threw accounts you're either a horrible seller, or don't know how to learn from your own mistakes.

Also, I was never one to get this often but having given customers the option to open claims 3 months after buying something always bothered me. Now they are confined by eBay money back policy and a chargeback but many cards won't let you charge back something 2+ months out.

Legit item sellers are absolutely loving MP now ... payouts have become quicker in the UK as well.

MP has advantages and disadvantages

the biggest advantage is that it massively improves the liquidity situation but the other side of the coin is that ebay have become a lot stricter because of MP
