Is EIN needed?

From what I've gathered here an EIN number is needed for proper account formation. I can't get one account to sell before being suspended or reactivated message. I do everything right.
Starting right off as a business account REALLY got allot of entree's to be filled like 'we need a second person in charge or as an associates info'. Asking for that person's EIN number too! Some other stuff too.
Starting as a personal seller account doesn't work either.
What I want to know is there something more that I should try to get an account selling? I don't want to know any secrets cause I would not share them either. I just want to know if there is something out there for me to find. I know I will find it.

list all your steps for informed discussion from forum ppl - it's not likely just an issue with EIN.

New IP, Sim Card, User, bank. Same REAL info, SS, same address. no go.

Or different name, different address as a buyer account for a while then start a listing. Later when asked, I put all REAL info cause it has to be that way.
Same results. No go.

I never tried an EIN instead of a SS. I guess that's next...who knows.

Hello, the most important thing you should do is just have the Ein number, which is a company number, (as far as I know, you can start with a random one) they will ask you for a document to verify it.
You must have a full real name, a complete real address of the person, with the real zip code example XXXXX-XXXX
you must have a good home ip
You should not publish the same day you open the account, you should publish the first week
With that plus other things that someone else can help you with, you will do well.

Hi, are you saying I should start as a business account? When I tried that they wanted info on some second person too. I just want to open a personal account(s).
