Oh yea, they gave us free munchies alright. It's kind of cheap hors d'oeuvre. They had a rep walking everywhere to repeat the same mantra to give customers free shipping. They kept saying, we did a study that found that even though most customers see the price on 2 listings are actually the same, they pick the one with free shipping. Basically said most customers can't add and when they see free they go for that.
Funny thing you said next time I go there. They keep sending me their invites even tho I got an mc999 and a category restriction indefinitely on my legit acct!
Those slides that you see was during the presentation. The speaker keeps on telling us that he sells Hawaiian shirts and provides good customer service etc etc. hint: sounds like dsrs.
Then he goes stock up for Christmas. I couldn't help but thinking he meant from aliexpress. Lol. Take great pictures. Go to the ends of the earth for your customers. If your customers ask to send to another address, do it. No sellers protection? Do it anyways! It's great customer service!
I didn't stay stealth because I didn't know about stealth at the time of these pics. I even had the eBay app installed! I know there were were quite a few people who didn't have stealth because they had eBay apps installed. When the kaching sound went off, the speaker was all faking a high and tried to get all in the audience to clap for her/him.
It was like a motivational seminar. I didn't get much from it as far as sourcing and finding niches. Funny thing is that shortly afterwards I got my mc999, I came here and got more inspiration on this site than I could ever get at ebay's headquarters!
Btw, I don't think you can attend with stealth accounts. That front door that you see, they were asking for people's Id. |
