inside eBay headquarters

I live about 40 miles away from eBay headquarters. Thought I share with you some pics of me and my friend that attended their sellers meeting during this summer. They were coaching sellers on how to increase their sales. What they really meant was for every seller to go to the ends of the earth for buyers, even went so far as to ask us sellers to send our items to unverified paypal addresses!!! And they even told us that we won't be covered! It's for customer service for crying out loud! Another big thing they wanted us to really focus on was to offer free shipping.

I have more pics, but I'm just showing you guys the ones without our faces, since we're all stealthers here. Also, there are pics of people I don't know, but I tried to pick the ones that had mostly backsides of people. Also, I used batch purifier to clean this pics, since I did have the ebay app installed on my iphone when I took these pics.

Funny thing is, the day after I attended this meeting, BAM, MC999, your account has been restricted in a certain category. We're not comfortable with your selling practices yada yada yada. Then I joined this forum. LOL.

I love step 4, show your listings on ebay and off. Weird, we can list links on the listings for off ebay sales. MC999 warning right there.

So did they give you free munchies too?

Free shipping so we can pay them fees on the shipping cost.

They wonder why sellers need help selling items but fail to forget to show sellers how to actually make a profit even with their excessive fees and hidden cost involved. How nice of them.

Kind of like, here we will show you how to sell 1000s of items with a 0.01 profit while we sit back and rake in millions in fees.

Now the auto relisting disaster to grab yet more fees.

Next time you go ask them about this auto relisting disaster.

So you stayed stealth and under the radar while attending an ebay outing? Nice! Wonder how many other stealthers were in attendance?

Oh yea, they gave us free munchies alright. It's kind of cheap hors d'oeuvre. They had a rep walking everywhere to repeat the same mantra to give customers free shipping. They kept saying, we did a study that found that even though most customers see the price on 2 listings are actually the same, they pick the one with free shipping. Basically said most customers can't add and when they see free they go for that.

Funny thing you said next time I go there. They keep sending me their invites even tho I got an mc999 and a category restriction indefinitely on my legit acct!

Those slides that you see was during the presentation. The speaker keeps on telling us that he sells Hawaiian shirts and provides good customer service etc etc. hint: sounds like dsrs.

Then he goes stock up for Christmas. I couldn't help but thinking he meant from aliexpress. Lol. Take great pictures. Go to the ends of the earth for your customers. If your customers ask to send to another address, do it. No sellers protection? Do it anyways! It's great customer service!

I didn't stay stealth because I didn't know about stealth at the time of these pics. I even had the eBay app installed! I know there were were quite a few people who didn't have stealth because they had eBay apps installed. When the kaching sound went off, the speaker was all faking a high and tried to get all in the audience to clap for her/him.

It was like a motivational seminar. I didn't get much from it as far as sourcing and finding niches. Funny thing is that shortly afterwards I got my mc999, I came here and got more inspiration on this site than I could ever get at ebay's headquarters!

Btw, I don't think you can attend with stealth accounts. That front door that you see, they were asking for people's Id.

Im very surprised that I didnt see any mug shot photos of that brown armored avatar of him and details with whereabouts on him when I saw the basement of eBay's headquarters.
