and if i just register on ebay can i open a store or do i have to become a standart seller first?and is there any listing limitation on ebay store as an newbie?

never open account in CN, it is limited strictly.

Wow I was getting close to that monthly with my real name accounts until I got blown up into space and told "I needed to go sell on Amazon" by eBay reps.

Can sell in other ebay sites. Still the limit is what you have in your account.
i.e. 5 at first, then 30, then 100, then more....

Hong Kong and China eBay account have far more limit than the ebay accounts in any other country. I have 4 limits in a year from them by the reason "Not performing very well", that account has 100% postive feedback and top-rated status. They decrease your selling limit without telling you in advance... Anyway, ppl here would prefer a stealth account from overseas

I got a 8-year old account under real info. Was with 1k items selling limit per month.

Suddenly it drops to 224, the other month 5xx, and now 1xx.

That's why I need to go Stealth.

Do you have to speak chinese to call? Or can you call ebay in the us to raise limits on cn account?

ok, let me shed a little light on eB.cn BS for everyone. this bunch of crooks operated separately from eB.com. i know about how they operated cuz i was in china selling on multiple gold/plat. power seller accounts (registered in Canada and US) and shipping via HK to north american (and eu) buyers back in 2007/2008 when they first started expansion of eB.cn

i sat in on more than one of their top seller meetings in posh chinese hotels in shenzhen back in the days (although i was not officially invited, i had many "friends" who were cuz they were chinese registered accounts). what happens is there are big manufacturer backed seller accounts registered in china, that wine and dine these eB.cn big powerseller support reps. they work in cahoots, and can bypass a lot of rules that applies to smaller accounts (such as poor CSR, high neg feedback, even some VeRO that can easily lead to suspension for regular starter sellers). even if that big seller gets listings removed on eB.com for whatever reason (and sometimes after multiple instances of such, resulting in suspended account) one phone call to their eB.cn handlers they can get the account back up. this leads me to believe that pulling listings and suspending accounts are done by US based eB.com team, but ultimately eB.cn team can bring it back to life after the fact, if you are a vip account.

however, they can only do that to chinese registered accounts on eB.cn. so that was the situation back then. im sure it is done in similar fashion now. thats why you see so many big chinese registered sellers dominating so many sectors on eB now, that it is very hard to compete. and some with very low CSR and many neg FB, you wonder how it is they are still selling at all. IMO such accounts should be limited to eB.cn, if they are allowed to operated on an uneven, unfair playing field. they should not be allowed on eB.com, if they dont have to follow the same rules.

i pulled out of the eB selling in china in 2009, cuz the manufacturer's own accounts were undercutting everyone and killing what pathetic little profit margin there was left. it just didnt make sense anymore.

How you withdraw the money tho? And the tax ID require by PayPal.
