Can we get unbanned on eBay?

Received the dreaded "You can no longer sell on eBay, Bill!" message, for failing to fulfill items on time (or at all). I recently joined this team to help consult on eBay/Amazon sales, and lo and behold, eBay account got suspended shortly after joining.

Is it worth fighting for a reinstatement (they've been suspended before), or is it better to create a stealth account?

You can no longer sell items on eBay

Your seller performance is not meeting the minimum requirements to sell on eBay and your seller level is now Below Standard in the US seller performance standards program.

You won't be able to list and sell items on eBay anymore.

Our selling standards are in place to help make sure sellers deliver a great customer experience. They measure whether buyers were satisfied with your items and your customer service.

What this means:
If you had any active listings, they've been ended, and any selling fees paid for those items will be credited to you. Any existing selling subscriptions have also been cancelled.
If you recently sold items that you still need to fulfill or ship, please do so as soon as you can.

You'll still be able to see any recently sold items in My eBay, send and receive messages, and buy items on eBay.

Check your Seller Dashboard to see details on your performance.

Boils down to how difficult it is to get unbanned at this point. We have built a ton of feedback as well.

Well that's the problem then.......no one can see into the future and give you a rating on how difficult it will be. Was this a stealth or non-stealth account?

I'll say this much.....I wish I had fought for my original non-stealth account. Maybe it would of lasted, maybe not.

Do you have stealth accounts as well?

This is what I'd have done:

I'd definitely fight for my non-stealth account, specially since it has a lot of history.

In the mean time, I'd also use the stealth guide to create multiple back up accounts and start to nurse them.

No other stealth accounts. However, we've been suspended before. This most recent was the second suspension, which seems to be a ban by looking at the language.

Is there a preferred method on contacting eBay in order to save the account? What's the best way to go about this?

Calling ebay is your best bet....if you come across someone that say's they can't help you or nothing can be done, don't worry.....hang up, call again another day, repeat until you do find someone who can make it happen.

Specific dept you ask for? I follow the prompt and hit the number on the dialpad corresponding to the eBay account issue dept, but it has always been a outsourced rep that offers little to no help. I ask for US rep and they say they can only take emails, which leads to instructions to go to the Contact Us page.

Honestly I don't know....but hopefully someone else can chime in on this one.

In the U.S I believe you can only contact them by phone unless there's a way to email them I don't know about.. I would just keep calling till u get a U.S rep they are out there.

there is,untill your banned. for some reason you have to call.

Calling them by phone is the best way to reach their trust and safety dept.
That's who usually control the suspensions.

I hope by now you are already in the process of making more back up accounts.

Been impossible to get a US rep on the phone. The overseas reps offer no help other than repeating that a US rep won't offer other solutions than they are offering (you can no longer sell on eBay).

Any other way to get a US rep on the line? Overseas call center up to the supervisor won't even allow a transfer due to the reason that US allegedly only communicates via email. I've already emailed them my appeal letter a couple days back.

On a side note, our inventory lives at a 3PL warehouse nearby, and they do our fulfillment. They have their own Amazon/eBay account as they sell themselves (in addition to fulfilling orders for clients). They said they could add me under User Permissions so I could sell under their account for the time being. Horrible idea?

Mid-Day. I thought that if you called during business hours, you'll get a U.S. rep, after hours will get you an overseas rep

I was never able to get reinstated, but I haven't been banned/shut down in a number of years.

Has anyone tried reaching out to specific people @ ebay Trust and Safety via email? Phone hasn't been helpful - continues to go to overseas reps.

I've scrubbed LinkedIn and about 10 contacts. May be worth a shot with a very compelling plan of action to avoid future mishaps?

If you cant talk to someone about this then odds are they have no intention to ever reinstate you.

Usually if they want a seller, they give the seller a path. In My limited experience, unless your items are very unique and ebay feels they loose sales by loosing you, they could not care less if you in particular sell anymore or not. They do not loose sales or fees, only you.

Why are you suspended twice? Two times below standard for late shipping is not the end of the world. Once for unresolved cases and you are dead in the water. Twice for Vero violations, 50/50 twice for other policy violations and you are wasting your time IMO.
