I starting using ebay today and was banned
 

I started using eBay today for the very first time. I was suspended today as well and I don't have a clue whats going on here. I came by this site wile trying to figure it all out

I'll start from the beginning.

I opened my first and only ebay account today in hopes to sell some stuff I had around the house.
I listed one item to test eBay out and see if it was right for me.
The item I listed was shortly removed and my account was limited.
I called eBay support and they fixed the problem. they just needed to confirm my ID.
I relisted the item and logged off.
I came back later today to see if it sold. but i had a notices that the account was suspended.
I fingered this was another simple problem so I call up ebay again.


This is were things got very confusing. The first service rep I got was extremely confused. They could not see anything on there end as to why I was suspended. They transferred my to someone in "escalations" who looked into the problem. They put me on hold and got back with me about 5 minuets later. They told me that there was another accounts linked to mine and that it owed ebay money. Ebay would not tell my anything more what so ever other then that I had to pay ebay the frees this other account had.

Has anyone see this before? I'm new to ebay and I;m not quite sure what I did wrong.
I recived an email shortly after that call with the rep saying that I owed ebay over $1000 in unpaid frees.

At this point I know for a fact I will not be selling on ebay if this is how they trick their new users. But the email I got saying I owed ebay over $1000
has me worried. Can I realy be charged 1000+$ in frees for another user?

Their system has messed up many people life and anyhow link them up..

We need to know what steps you used to make your account. I'm willing to bet you got linked super easy.

OP, getting bits and pieces of info is not the way I like to do things.

I recommend you get the stealth guide and study it before you start anything.
Then come back to this forum to get additional support once you have the basics down.

Otherwise you're just going to run into issues later and waste time

Maybe somebody used your name and ID to open an account and got it torched.

Which of your friends or family are sort of shady and troubled and would do that to you?

I'll bet you can figure out who it is if you put your mind to it...

You need to call Ebay to get the information used for the account that is linked to you to see if it your name/address that were used, or maybe your IP address/computer. It is definitely not Ebay's policy to charge people $1,000 before they start to list their old books laying around their house.

If you really have no idea what is going on as to why you are linked to this other account, you need to talk to their support team or their supervisors to get to the bottom of the problem.

Like I said above, just grab the stealth guide and start from there.

There's really nothing else you can do.

I called many times and tryed all that. All they would tell me is the first name of the acount holder, withc is no one I know nore does anyone I know knows.
I was told I was responsible for their frees/account as the two acounts were linked by being from the same household (not address) and as such they clame I owe the fees. It's total BS. And Im not paying them one penny. If they want to collect Ill file a complaint with my states prosecuting attorney office for violating the far credit ack.

I do know I will not be selling on eBay. All I wanted to do was sell a few things around the house, but if this is how they treat new users I want nothing to do with them,

I when to ebay. Clicked register and setup an acount. Not sure how I could grt linked to anything, this was the first time i ever used ebay

What's this guide needs to do with op issue?

Did you actually read the op post? EBay linked him with other account where someone own 1k in fees

By the way do you get commission from this guide? Almost every single post contain link of this guide

Was there ever someone at your home on your WiFi ? Do you let friends, relatives, anyone’ on your internet connection?

It seems simple to me, they linked you to someone else who was using your address deets and didn't pay their fees. And that's it.

Some other poster made a post about this recently, same story. We'll probably see more of them as time goes on.

OP, your story is not very common and was just a very unlucky hand. eBay does tend to puff their chest a bit harder around the holidays, so that could've been a contributing factor too. Just make a new account, put some different information in the user registrations field, and it probably won't happen again.

First of all, I don't owe you any explanation and if You want to call me out, you better be prepared yourself. Whether I make commission from the stealth guide or not, is absolutely none of your damn business even though the answer is "no".

To the OP:

I recommended you get the stealth guide because if you are getting linked, you have a broken process somewhere and even if we manage to figure one area out, we don't know for sure if there's any other problems that may surface in the future.

I like to start from fresh specially when I'm newer to any kind of process or system and I'm still trying to figure things out.

She suggest it because they rarely if ever remove this kind of a suspension. They're not going to tell you any information about the other supposed account.

If he wants to get on, he's going to have to go stealth.

This is a forum about stealth, so it's only to be expected people promote the guide here.

Hello i try to go to website and download stealth guide but antivirus immediately blocks website, please fix this issue

Just ignore the warning or disable the anti virus for a bit.
Or allow the website to be shown in your anit virus setting.

There's nothing to be fixed from our end about this.

No wifi, no one other then me useing the pc and internet.
So basically someone used my adreess in thier acount or something and that triggered ebay to ban me? Cant think of anything else

I see on bbb's website that others complained anout this recently.

Just my opinion.
People that reply to questions like to with links to none free products sound super scammy. Continueing to push it after I stated im not going to bother selling on ebay doesn't help.

Are you living in a new home?

Do you live in an apartment where your wifi could be tapped?

Have you checked your credit report to see if you are a victim of identity theft?

Any credit cards get caught in the experian/fraud scandal or any other recent hack?

If you can show beyond a shadow of a doubt you have NEVER had an ebay account I'd ask them about filing a police report. This may make them believe you are in fact a victim and they will release your account.
