2 new ebay accounts share same IPs

So the dumb thing that I did was that...
I was using several stealth accounts and got confused. These 2 new accounts shared a same VPN IP for the first 3 months.

They are both around 3 months old, on separate virtual machines, only have the second hand cheap bidding, have around 10 feedbacks, they are not blocked.

What should I do now? Should I just buy a new IP for one of the account?

I would just get a new ip for them both and carry on like normal. Not much more you can do!

I would just carry on as you're doing now. To each their own though.

I've been intentionally running the same setup you accidentally configured for years. I have at least 2 accounts running on 12 out of my 14 VPN's. They're separated by VM's like yours and have been running strong for years. Thanks to mobile networks and users with IP's that constantly change, eBay doesn't link accounts based solely on a common IP.

Phaz0rz is correct on this.

Just as EB doesn't link on one thing alone; it takes more than a single thing to link you.

Sharing the IP, name, or even address by itself doesn't seem to be enough to link.

Also consider the fact many ISP's use a common gateway (NAT) whereby hundreds (or even thousands) of customers SHARE the SAME IP address.

yea you could keep doing it. When one account is down consider the other one will go down too.

I think a mantra like this is rather dangerous.

Why? It is failing in those extra conditions that are needed in account creation.

As it stands now, a newcomer with little experience or someone with English as a second language could/might read this as it being OK to reuse suspended info.

Keep in mind, our readers may not be prepared to work in learning proper Stealth methods. I would advise caution, tbh.

I don't know why you are given the advice of keep doing what you are doing.
When one of your accounts go down, both will.

Sure you are ok right now, but it'll catch up to you eventually.
I do suggest you grab a new VPN or change your IP for one of the 2.

Now while you make this small change, make and prepare more accounts just incase something happens to these 2 that share the same IP.

Yeah I bet getting a new VPN for one of the 2 is the best option in this circumstance!

Thank you for sharing your brave experiment with me, it calms me down. I was gonna buy a new VPN to make things correct but was worried about wasting my money on endangered accounts.

Never had suspended accounts due to IP issues, but who knows? It's better to play safe than sorry. Get a new IP to separate them.

Yep, not me personally, but I have seen people in the forum got nailed for IP only and got over 5 accounts nuked on the same day and they emails say that they were linked.

I always say... do it 100% or don't do it at all. because that 1% will catch up soon or later.

Re: 2 new ebay accounts share same IPs

Sharing IP's is never good practice and should be avoided. HOWEVER, it's unlikely that by itself would cause an issue, it's not something you should take likely unless you don't value your accounts.

I think using DIRTY IP's or those that were abused a lot on some of these free VPN companies, or SOCKS is far more damaging. Assuring your IP's are clean should be your #1 priority.
