new here, any stories about getting your account back ?
 

I am new here, and have read the stealth guide. Clearly a solution. But, it means hyper attention to detail. Always wondering if you will wake up and find your new accounts shut down.

What I have not heard is: People who have actually appealed the suspension and posted positive results.

In my case, I had an eBay account from the old days, before anyone knew about eBay, and we all were using Compuserve and AOL email. I am talking over 20 years of positive eBay experience, and i was shutdown, and really never told why. I think I can guess, but never given an explanation. Just an indefinite suspension.

Love the wording. Indefinite. To me, that implies maybe I can reapply. When I called Customer Disservice in Manilla, they said, "well of course indefinite means you are banned forever." Okay. In the US, you stupid ****, words have meaning.

To be clear, I do not owe eBay money. I did not defraud anyone. I did not use hate speech or infringe on copyrights, and I did not conduct any illegal business, unlike the 5-star rated Chinese knock-off companies that eBay embraces.

So, while I pursue my underground ecommerce venture with IP spoofing and other spy and dark web technology to sell my legal goods, does anyone have good experiences in getting their old eBay account(s) back ? Are there any legitimate services that can be retained ?

The amount of people that get an account restored after being indefinitely suspended are few and far between. It can happen but not very often.

Not actually needed in order to get back selling on ebay.

There have been a lot of positive stories. I can't find the threads at the moment but towards the end of 2017 eBay went on an account restoration spree and a lot of forum members were posting about getting their original "non-stealth" eBay account back.

If you have read the ebay stealth, then use the code in here to get your VIP pass.

And regardless if you got your account back or not, without paying any attention to details, you'll never get far in anything.

Could not be further from the truth.

1. Doesn't need "hyper attention to detail". Sure make sure not to make mistakes, but over time you'll get used to it.

With everything starting off something new is hard. But I'll tell you, stealth is very rewarding.

2. Many members have accounts that are 5 yrs+ old, still running (including myself)

You need to learn to take care of them, and you'll be fine.

I just got one of 4 reinstated yesterday. Just out of the blue. It was my oldest account that wasnt used for 10 years then used for dropshipping for 3 months and was banned about 3 or 4 months ago.

did you call or do a dispute for it to happen 'just out of the blue'? they killed my account back in '16, wondering if i should call and see what happens

Sorry that turned out to be false information. Out of the blue means I did absolutely nothing and received an email stating my account was reinstated. So I logged in and it said to pay my $100 balance and it would be good to go, so I foolishly did. It didnt get reinstated. According to the rep when I called in asking why it wasnt working my account had 3 different bans, after payment 2 were lifted, the 3rd however I was told would never be lifted lol

Remember all people care about is Money... they'll do anything to get you for it.

It seems daunting at first, but doesn't take a lot of work to keep things separate so long as you are of decent intelligence and have a firm understanding of how they keep track of people and tie accounts together.

I had mine for 18 years, no sales for several years, listed 5 items and suspended and a phone call did not work on my real account.

Now going to stealth one step at a time.

I just got my account reinstated, i called in yesterday and today i got email on how much i can sell. they told me they are only reinstating accounts that where suspended before 2014. the guy told me your in luck your account is eligible for reinstatement. honestly i had given up on getting account reinstated i have not called them until yesterday i said what the heck im going to give it a shot, and there it. my account was suspended for poor sellers ratings and for MC054 Listing policy violation alert: Direct Sales

Only reinstating accounts suspended before 2014....that agent was just talking gibberish.

You can still be suspended again - better learn stealth and make backup accounts.
