New Account After Suspension -- Sell Gift Card?
 

I was suspended 6 months ago from eBay. Got a new account using the Stealth suggestions.

I got a gift card for a restaurant I will never use. I tried places like CardPool to sell it and they don't even take it. The gift card is for $50 and I saw on ebay and recently as this month one sold for $46.

Is it risky for me, with a brand new account, to sell a gift card? I only have one I want to get rid of and eBay seems like the place I will make the most money.

I have read that with a new account, you should sell simple items like a book. I am just wondering if a gift card is a bad idea or not.

Yes it will be very risky to sell that item if it is your first item listed.
Unless your account is established as a seller already - don't bother.

Unfortunately that is very risky... just about everything is risky... even if you drop your phone in water and want to sell it I is considered risky.

Very risky to sell GC as your first item indeed!

OP, need to establish your account with activity before listing this - gift card should be one of the first sales, too risky
