Banned on a freshly new account
 

Today just started dropshipping on ebay from aliexpress and go suspended. First time i got reinstated, called ebay and they allowed to sell items again. After an hour i got suspended. Called them again - they say they cant say the reason i was suspended. The suspension - indefinetily. Had a few listings - a watch, phone holder, and a leather wallet. Any tips for the future ? What should i do.

They don't like dropshippers.

Build up your account without dropshipping and then start doing it slowly.

With bans happening that fast I would say something in your setup or the way you access your account is causing this

i dont care what they dont like, it is legal to dropship in ebay. maybe because of the tools ? i used dsm tool, i dont have any other explanation here. havent even got a single view on my items.

With that attitude all of your stores will quickly be suspended. Dropshipping is against eBay policy regardless of what the law says.. so you'll need to work with them on this or keep failing. Dropshipping tools will get your account in trouble because they indicate to eBay you are dropshipping. :thumb:

Dropshipping from manufacturer,wholesaler,distributor is fine,but dropshipping from other retailers is Retail Arbitrage and not allowed on Ebay.
To get suspended so quickly,I think it is the dropship tools you are using.

question-dropshipping from Ali supplier,how are they going to ship to your buyer?
if you are in USA,Ebay expects domestic customers should get your order in 7 days,Ali suppliers are known to ship China post first class ,it could take up to 30 days .

ebay rep told me this summary on one call:
-match ship from country/item location with the account holders address
-dont use stock photos
-dont use stock descriptions
-dont list 300items a day as private seller (my early days lol)
-dont have chinese text in your listing or pictures if you're not chinese
-have at least some sentences in the listing that are written in your local language

he seemed to have known it was a stealth account as he was laughing all the time and said "try again another time"
they won't tell you anything if you agree to record the call

Will they talk to you if you tell them you don't consent to the call being recorded?

If so I might have to try chatting up a rep "off the record".

so you got your answer,dropshipping from ALIEXPRESS is a waste of time.as Ali sellers are all active on Ebay,and they have multiple IDs selling the same items.
you have to source in your own country (USA),use your own photos,and dont use Chinese text if Chinese is not your first language!
Ebay is getting rather specific fighting dropshipping from China.

For most cheap, typical "china stuff" that looks like from the wholesale street market, definitely.
But as Kajunrook said, find the right products and a good supplier and boom, there's your money.

i feel with you.. just got my personal used stuff acc banned yesterday :rolleyes:

is that why sellers prefer to dropship from AMZN?
AMZN has many warehouses in USA,and it does not use Chinese text.

Professional advice from someone who has been juggin ebay for 8 years.

Make an account with real info (someone who isn't banned), verify by SSN or EIN and then bank account and slap a VCC on there. If you are in the USA use an AMEX gift card.

Then setup your ebay as a personal, link the 2, and wait it out. Browse around and look for some stuff that might interest you. In about a week or so, start selling and trappin out the bando. Also Make sure you use a real phone number. Go to CVS (if in america) buy a straight talk sim ($1) and the $25 plan to receive texts and have a number registered under T-mobile (Straight talk is a company under T-mobile).

If you are in the UK kinda follow the same above except buy an activated sim without a time care. For whatever reason the UK doesn't require a plan to receive text messages lol. Lucky mfers.

I have been drop shipping for years from aliexpress.
No problems, UNLESS I drop ship trademarked items.

I was told that AMEX gift cards dont work, confirmed from numerous members here. When was the last time you tried that?

IDK I made an account last week, Fresh IP, new number, etc. I can guarantee you I did everything 100% accurate, and it was suspended within 24 hours.

I almost want to say ebay goes thru seasons where they let **** slide, and then after 4-6 months they go into crazy strict mode and unleash hell on everyone. Its been going on for a while now.

I’ve been trying to create a stealth account via phone browser and all making new I get a new IP and clear cookies and they still **** me. Pretty sure they have banned my phone somehow

I've had a lot of accounts banned also, within 24 hrs of listing first item

I had the same issue. Opened account and placed the item for sell and they suspended me. I called eBay every day and on the 5th day they reinstated my account. After i placed another item with variations and they suspended me again i thought 2nd suspension will be forever... If you are interesting i can explain what i have done later to reinstate my account.
