This is getting ridiculous. I would like to start by stating that I've been a stealther for almost 10 years now and I've never had this much trouble creating new accounts. I recently tried to create around 20 new accounts from October to December, all of which were suspended (within 1-2 hours). After researching the forum, I thought that aging the accounts was the issue. So, I created 10 new accounts at the beginning of December, and aged them all for a month; browsing and clicking items each day for 30 days. I even re-purchased the Stealth guide and followed it to a T, just to have each account suspended. Clearly I'm not the only one here who is having this issue. I'm wondering why the stealth guide is seemingly obsolete now.

Here is a quick breakdown of my account creation method
-Windows 10 user account for each account (yes I've heard conflicting reports about win 10, but this shouldn't be an issue)
-Confirmed checking account and mastercard gift card for each account
-Phone number with freephoneline or Hused app
-New IP via tethering
-Fresh gmail
-Real address with real info

What am I missing here? It's absolutely ridiculous that none of this is working anymore. Any help would be appreciated.

Don't use freephoneline or Hused app or any of the free phone services, they're highly abused now.

Google Voice is surprisingly still okay however.

Also, letting your accounts sit isn't a good idea.

Those apps will get you closed up. You can call in and get a small limit usually still though. If you can pass database questions, you are good to go.

Pretty much most stealth accounts are going to get suspended when you list your first item and you have to call in. Just a heads up.

I'm a little confused as Freephoneline is listed on the Stealth guideline. Are Google Voice and prepaid my only options now? Thanks for the reply.

if you use google voice, learn how to make it not show as google voice. a real phone is best and better if you can register the phone in the name as the account.

Still, much of the time you will list an item, get suspended and have to call in. It is how is works now.

Each time I call in I get shut down. I'm asked for information that I don't have and cannot find. Suggestions?

Start submitted doc's like drivers license for manual approval.

Everything is covered in the stealth book and the thousands of threads here.
Real phone numbers only (if it's free, it's abused)
Windows 10 leaks data between accounts (the very nature of windows 10 is designed to sync and share)

When the rules change, you must adapt or die. True in stealth and life in general. Surly you've seen changes in your 10 years of stealthing, and more are surly coming.

I have the exact same issue with accounts i create

ive bought paid accounts from here and had the same issue

ive bought paid accounts from elsewhere with the sameissue

any new account i use works fine - right up until listing then its suspended within 48 hours

The last seller i purchased from then got it unsuspended for me... only for it to get suspended again 24 hours later...

I understand their reason but i have one question - surely their new practice must be affecting their none stealth genuine new sellers

I make about 10 new accounts per month as back up.
So far none has gotten suspended.
So I'm curious if it's perhaps the item you might think is low risk but end up triggering the suspension?

I'm still running the old windows without updates.
Is windows 10 really that bad and you can't just switch user accounts with it?

Is there no way to set it so it doesn't share anything?

What kind of data does windows 10 leak? Is there an example of this using a detection service on the web?

It's not Windows 10 related.

Ebay have toughened up their security, and are tracking in other ways now.

It cant possibly be device tracking as i use completely seperate devices for my accounts and still end up with the same issues

Its got to be electoral roll or some kind of database check

Each time I start out selling a used book in good condition. There's no way this should trigger anything.

Ok, well I'm paying for a service here. I paid for Stealth so that I could actually create new accounts and I'm not getting what I paid for. I've probably spent 20 hours searching the forum and there isn't a clear answer. Some say to age accounts while Aspkin says that we shouldn't age accounts. It's absurd that we can't come up with some sort of uniform approach here.

Well, they are sellers of stealth accounts. Ofc they are gonna say that there is nothing wrong and it's your method that is flawed lol. There is definitely something up though. I do get lucky with some accounts, eBay suspend most. Fortunately, I have other marketplaces where I sell and security is not as tight as ebay.

You'll be surprised when it comes to books. Not all of them are low risk / generic.

If that used book has a branded name in it - i.e. Harry Potter - then it certainly is NOT a low risk item.

Since October eBay is suspending all accounts whether aged or new on fist listing within a few hours for verification.

They use information from the public domain so questions about height and date of birth are used are used as well as where you lived previously color of present or previously owned vehicles and any company affiliations.

They will allow you one fail and will question you on different things second time around.

If you are using a fictitious name or address you will fail. You account has to be somebody alive and that you can have the information on, like a relative or close friend.

These suspensions are the normal now.

eBay has long considered use of any VoIP phones or non REAL mobile phone carriers a huge red flag.

Also, they will know if you are using a data center based IP. You need to re-think your strategy as things have gotten a lot stricter.

my personal experience is that it happens deliberately and there is no system behind it so that the old stealth rules would not work anymore. obviously is it connected to the new payment system where they are trying to clean the house prior to it's launch.

anyway , in my opinion it will be becoming only worse because ebay do not have a clear system like amazon where you send in documents in advance. instead whoever is on the phone decides on the spot and additionally there are back office checks later so that many of the accounts reinstated by service reps then get suspended indefinitely

I guess ebay have got too much money , if they want to take out ⊗⊗⊗⊗ accounts they just need to ask for docs and check those properly

Which public database lists your height and the kind of car(s) you have? Wouldn't they have to get that from the DMV?

This is the problem there is so much bull**** from misinformed people that is becomes fact

Sorry there is no way ebay are asking how tall you are and using that to grant you an ebay account

Are all the sellers in this forum now following these new guidelines then?.

I spent £500 on accounts last month only for them all to get banned first listing...

Clearly they weren’t created using this database

Ok, tried google voice with a new account. Still got suspended. I'm also wondering why the list of phone verification options on the Stealth guide hasn't been updated.

Fingerblast, you've been around for a LONG time. Obviously you understand things change over time.

The past 5-6 months there have been major changes with eBay new accounts.

The first sale is when your account is reviewed. At that point if anything looks fishy with your account automated systems will flag your account for human review (suspension)

The accounts you're creating are low quality it sounds like, they're getting flagged as suspicious and are being suspended for manual review.

You can call in and if you say the right things the account will get reinstated but that obviously isn't guaranteed.

Think.. what about your account doesn't look legit and is getting it flagged?

Outline your recent steps so we can give more feedback.

can't understand why you think it's the title of the book thats getting you suspended, how many books are you going to go through until you realize that it maybe something in your account creation? maybe you have never had that problem before in the 10+ years of creating them.
Lot of people from US in forum with same problem as you.

Hello People New member here, just adding my voice to you, i just entred the realm of ebay & drop shipping, only to get smashed in the face.
here is what i did
keep in mind i have never been on ebay even as a buyer.
1-so i started a new account and let that account a few days maybe two weeks
2-tunred theh account into a business account and linked it to paypal, had some problems first cause paypal had an old master card that was expired....after fixing the issue resumed the work and the account become business
3-filled all i know about the tos & policy ...
4-then after couple of days again i enlisted a product from banggood website...copied everything accordingly afaik.
5-a few hours after the enlisting i got suspended ...i read about it and found out tha is the normal standard now for account verification..
6-tried to contact ebay throu skype but when ever i call i get the system is updating please call back later...since it was on December i thought it's normal because of the holidays
7-then started searching and found that i should keep trying to call until i succeed which i did but the connection was choppy so i couldn't finish the talk and the call was ended from my end...
8- trying to call again always the same message " we are upgrading out systems now please call back later"
9-yesterday i gave my friend the account info and he tried to contact them...and he succeeded by texting only....and the reps said she couldn't do a thing the account is suspended for good and no way to get it back it's FINAL ...
10-i tried to keep calling when i succeeded in reaching a rep she asked my info and i was screwing with the Zip Code but then i got it right after that she listened to my problem i told her everything she asked to wait after a minute or two she said your account is suspended and that's final after a team conducted an investigation ...i laughed so hard about that lol. what investigation is there the account has no life to begin with no histpry no activity even no enlisting except the first that's required to verify my id
she listened then told me there nothing she can do...and i should just look for different platform

You gotta be kidding.
With so much good information given to you in this thread (even from Aspkin himself), you've chosen to follow the one answer containing incorrect advice.
Let's make this simple,
You cannot EVER use a VOip number (like Google voice) for account creation...EVER
You need to read the forums and do your research. If you believe that the junk you are listing is causing your problem, you are just putting your head in the sand. Your accounts are flawed.
I'm not picking on you, but you gotta face facts.
It's time to step it up, buy a real phone, buy a solid IP, spend some time and some money or get out of this game.

This response is a joke, right? I'm paying for a Stealth membership. I should be getting factual information for what I paid for. Moreover, I have researched. Everyone seems to have a different opinion on what works and what doesn't. The owner of the forum himself just said that Google voice works and now you're saying that I'm a fool for even trying it. How can I make sense of all of this? Maybe instead of giving a condescending, vague answer that isn't in the least bit helpful you could actually point me in the right direction?

If I come off condescending is because you state that you have 10 years experience in stealthing, yet you cannot make an account while others here (including myself) are having success. We share useful information to help you, yet your childishness is getting in your way.
Keep on believing that it's Ebay's and everybody else's fault that your accounts don't work...it can't possibly be anything to do with your setup.
I'm no psychic, but I'd bet the farm on a prediction that your accounts will ALWAYS get suspended until the end of time, or until you stop your nonsense and just get a job at McDonald's or wherever else you qualify for.

some one mentioned Ebay keeping a data base,in the early days,they do have a cookie database,of course now we know how to remove old cookies,I dont know what does Ebay keep on its database.but some how somewhere something is leaking.
BTW,someone FRiday downgraded Ebay stock to a sell,someone described Ebay as a melting ice cube.
With all the suspended accounts keep comingback,retail arbitraging with AMZN ,lousy pictures,sloppy descriptions,scammers ,counterfeit products,Ebay needs a big makeover !
