After reviewing your eBay account, we've noted several concerns with your recent activity. As a result, we've taken the following action on your account:
- Your eBay account has been suspended.
- Item listings have been removed. A list of removed items is available further down in this email.

We've taken this precaution to protect our members while we make sure that the activity doesn't cause harm -- however unintentionally -- to the eBay community.

While suspended, you won't be able to use eBay. Registering a new account may hinder any option to appeal your account. If you would like to appeal this action, we need to verify your account information and your eBay activity directly with you.

Any outstanding fees owed for selling activity will post to your account as due. Any amounts that you haven't previously disputed will be charged to the billing method currently on file.

If you have questions about this message, please click Help at the top of most eBay pages.

Ebay and Paypal do not like sellers who sell digital goods,so sending hard copy on DVD with tracking is a good idea.

Digital items = high risk . To me it's a ticking time bomb even if it works for a while.

Are you trying to actually make copies of a movie DVD or making your own content and put it on DVD??

Re: eBay ban wave

make softwer dvd copy(print label)-tray to like original disc

Doesn't matter, digital item is a digital item. Ebay's bots can pick up on this

Re: eBay ban wave

Digital products are hell to sell

I sold 20 before giving up

15 were 0-3 feedback buyers from South America and the Middle East, great fun that was.

The quick cash is not worth it, first few sales at least, physical product with tracking is the way to go.

In this case theres no doubt its all about the goods being sold. Those are directly responsible for you losing accounts.
Things are getting stricter. Things you could have gotten away with two years ago will no longer be possible these days.

he is selling open source software which is free
when the buyers find out they just paid for something thats free or they think it's a copy he will have a high ratio of open cases build up,
It's surprising that some buyers get so annoyed thinking they have fell victim to a big scam and go to the extreme to get there £2 back.

even if the customers don't care, ebay is cracking down on listings it doesn't like, especially on new accounts. listing digital or vero items right away is an almost guaranteed method to be flagged by their bots and be suspended

8 months for digital items is quite good

Things are tough now, they are cracking down on everything. There is no more warnings, you may get 1... but mostly they are just going straight to suspensions for all policy violations.

If you sell any phobidded item as a 1st item its always a suspension, the warnings are to make you aware, it's always been the same, if you have ever got a warning for the first item you have just been lucky thats all,
