My ebay account just got MC011 ban. They are asking me to provide id and invoice. I am wondering if I do nothing will that account be suspended eventually? I am not planning to sell on ebay any more but still want to make purchase on ebay.
I program a ebay crawler and use that account to make purchase extensively. Setting up a new account is possible but the crawler needs ebay API approve so it is complicated.
By the way, if anyone interested in using the crawler please PM me. You basic provide me a keyword and target price and if any new listing below that price pops up it will send you a text message with ebay URL and you can make purchase using your own ebay account. So there is no security issue.

If you send in the docs and they find something bad or a prior connection, it can turn into a complete account killer, but, by default, I believe it's just a selling restriction.
Botting eBay is also a no go and can result in buying account suspensions.
Does MC011 affects buying?
