Default Sticky situation

Hi, so on 2 of my recent orders, the buyers filed a pay-back case to paypal (because their paypal was used by someone else). So, i refunded both buyers through the resolution center on paypal.

After, i tried to cancel the orders on ebay i was hit with this message; 'We cannot cancel the order as there is a paypal dispute open'.

From my end, the paypal cases are closed, so what should i do?

I would chat with eBay support. I didn’t have that exact issue but had an issue where I refunded the buyer due returns and eBay didn’t credit me the fees. So I wrote to chat support and they issued me credit. They can still look into PayPal accounts if the transaction was cancel.

This is my experience

Sounds like a glitch.
Wait a few days and it might correct itself.
If it does not doesn't sound like you have any options other than to contact ebay.

Slokor is right, eBay will be updated by PayPal in time and the transaction will show as refunded - so nothing to worry about.

You're right agent, however, from experience, Paypal have banned me for having cases like those opened. Best to close them straight away. Plus that paypal is a pretty aged account so would be a bummer losing it lol.

Also, because i cannot cancel them as of yet, would it affect any DSR ratings?

I wouldnot take the risk, get your money of that pp and switch. You should have more pp from 3 months ago made, use those.

Ebay will update and get notification from pp then it will automaticly cancel or you can press cancel and it will go thru.
