ebay banned my real account because of usps covid delays
 

I just got banned off of ebay because of USPS covid delays from the holidays
Is there anything I can do about it because its literally not my fault and nothing I could have done about it

They banned my account because I received about 50 item not received cases out of 2000 because USPS has been delaying my packages from November to December because of holidays and covid.
Am I the only one affected by this?
Is there anything I can do?

Did you drop it off and get a receipt for it? if I use usps I just don’t trust them enough on their own volition to scan it in timely manner. I would try to appeal the decision if you can but it’s such a large amount the chances of them to reinstate your account is low. But never hurts to try and ask them to look at the issue. I would next time ask them for receipt. USPS for me not best carrier to send in mass bulk because of their spotty scans.

They were scanned in on time
The only problem was once it was scanned they did not move for a week or two at a time and then bam item not received cases up the a$$
Im sure I'm not the only problem and they sent me an email stating the decision is final and they wont respond to any of my messages anymore =/

I would try to fight it and see if you can get an appeal. Just point out you did everything in your power. Make sure you emphasize it. At this point you have nothing to lose. If you don’t then it’s permanent ban.

I never liked usps and attitude that they have. I make sure to insure everything with usps. The chances of them losing or delaying is less likely after. No company wants to pay out.

I have tried with no response
Also called and their reps are nothing but bots the way they reply
Has anyone had any luck getting their account back due to being banned from USPS delays?
Am I the only one thats dealing with this issue?

I would call them and talk to appeals team. You will need to call a couple of times

Were you responding to the INR cases on time? Were you actively communicating with your buyers to keep them from escalating the cases to customer service?

I've had about 20 INR cases opened since the end of November but have managed to only have a handful get escalated.

It’s crazy how bad usps this year. Honestly they should give away their services for free because all the trouble they caused sellers and customers. I don’t understand them. They can deliver 55 cent stamp and envelope. But when it comes to package they are lost.

Yes i have refunded all of them or they all got delivered
Took care of all of them did not let them get escalated

USPS has delayed deliveries by 2 weeks!
first class is alteast 10-12 days and priority take 7-10 days 'unofficially'

I lost my real account during covid shipping delays. They wont reinstate even after settling all orders and refunds. Lost full purchase price to customers, lost money to supplier plus fees. It was brutal

Honestly they should privatize the post office. It’s ridiculous they aren’t taking responsibility for their service.

If the post office goes private the shipping fees will shoot through the roof. It's a public service because its essential and the government helps by making it as affordable as possible.

if they go private,they have to match what their competitors Fed EXP,UPS,and have better customer service.
Right now it is still the best deal in town

Their shipping rate are already increasing double the rate of inflation. Every year, its 4-7% rate increase, inflation rates are 2-3%.

Customer service is the key to handle INR cases successfully. IMHO.

Post office service is not cheap at all by any means. It depends on how you negotiate with the company. The OP wouldn’t be in this situation if the PO did their job. It’s not like your shipping for free. The problem is they can’t get rid of bad workers who actually drag usps down with them. By privatizing it put fire on the butt for the lazy workers there. Canada and Great Britain are perfect examples of system where the PO is privatize.

But actually brings in a profit for Canada so lessen the burdens for the tax payers and also does their job correctly instead wait two weeks for scan or get delivery

I doubt it. In this BS "woke" world we're living in companies aren't allowed to get rid of bad employees because it may hurt their feelings. We also have affirmative action policies which force companies to keep certain employees around regardless of how badly they perform. That said, the issues with USPS at the moment are baffling to me. Tons of our shipments are going all the way to their destination state before getting their first scan. I can't fathom why that may be unless USPS workers are just disregarding the duties of their job. It's really weird. I've had to start printing scan sheets for everything we send out just to make sure shipments get an acceptance scan. I would have expected things like this a year ago when everything was a mess.. but what's the excuse now?

I think the reason USPS is a government agency in the first place is because it would have been impractical for any private company to provide postal services to such a vast country in the early days of the US. How would you privatize such an entity 250 years later? Just sell all post offices to UPS? I went off on a tangent there but I just don't see privatization as being practical at this point.
