Suspeneded after listing 1st item how do you contact eBay???
 

How do you call eBay when it says your account is "blocked"? eBay just leads my in circles and their old # 8665403229 doesn't work anymore I ran into getting banned after listing 1st item on a stealth account a couple years ago and it was fixed by just calling them.

Used all real info, had trouble listing first item - "we can't verify your identity" as I was using a google voice #. CS told me to link my PayPal account, which
I did but that didn't fix it. Switched to a different Google Voice # which was a port from a carrier, called eBay, 1st item went live, 20 mins later -- suspended. They e-mailed me asking questions like "what kinds of items will you sell them and how many" I told them I wanted to sell 3-5 used books per month. My first item was a book with real pics of book, now I can't seem to find a way to contact eBay, it just runs me in circles and they've stopped responding to my e-mails because they "aren't comfortable" with my "business practices"...of wanting to sell 3-5 books per month as an individual. They didn't get SSN or passport. All they got was real name, dob, address, PayPal. Obviously in hindsight, Google Voice is a bad idea...I still have stealth accounts with Google Voice from years ago though so I wrongly assumed it was safe.

click help, scroll down, contact us and they'll give you an option for chat or call you.

Use automated chat and then there’s an option to chat with a support agent. Contact them for “selling”, not for account restriction / suspension under Contact US, otherwise the chat bot will tell you no rep is available.

Yeah dont bother with the call option. Do things over chat. Its much faster.
If the suspension is due to your first item listed it shouldnt be much of an issue to get the acct reinstated.

Before I posted the OP I contacted ebay via chat and finally got a human after yelling at them over chat. They sent me an e-mail asking questions like "how much will you sell on ebay per month?" I answered all their questions except the address verification part, they just linked me to the page but didn't tell me what they wanted so I didn't upload any docs. After answering their questions they said they weren't comfortable with my business model. They've started ignoring me via e-mail now after a couple copy and paste responses from them. When I go to chat now I just get a bot, can't get to a human no matter how much b!tching.

Is there anything to do? Should I change the info on file with ebay or does that not reduce risk of future accounts being banned because they permanently record it? All they got was name, maybe DOB (can't remember), address, e-mail and phone. No SSN. Couldn't anyone just register an ebay account in someone else's name and mess things up for them since that's all public info???

Problem can come out when asked for ID/verification docs...

Sure - if the account is deemed to violate policies i.e. sales, other antics....
