eBay account suspended before business even opens?
So I'm starting an ecommerce business. Legit stuff. LLC and sales tax registration. I set up an account on ebay as a branch of operations. This would be to sell stuff from a wholesaler or thrift items from my physical community (mostly books and clothes). I tried a trial run of a product to see how it would list and then deleted it. Today I received an email that,
1) "Your eBay account has been permanently suspended because we noticed activity that we believe is a risk to our community."
2) "The safety of our community is a top priority for us, so our decision to permanently suspend your account is final and can’t be appealed. "
and
3) They removed the listing that they were already supposed to delete!
No purchases. No customer complaints. No operations. Business is waiting for license and permits to come in to sell. I was given no steps to rectify any errors. No policy violations given. The test item was from a wholesaler but again, a wholesaler ebay allows.
So, why did they suspend my account? And what recourse do I have? After trying to call eBay I see they have very little help to offer. Should I just give up and use another platform? Or do I have options?
