I need help! ive been stressing for weeks over this. I have so much of my money locked away in this account. Ive been selling replica systems (nearly zero complaints...people love them) and after getting a large spike in sales over a weekend and the post man taking almost 2 days to scan the items, i got hit with an mc011 temp restriction. I asked customer service and they said it had nothing to do with my sales and it was just a random check. they want a copy of my id, supplier invoice and statements. Since i got this from an over seas seller whos not a certified distributor idk what to do.
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!
If this is a restriction only are yous till getting your payouts?
If so get your money out BEFORE you provide those docs. Would be a shame for those docs to fail and the acct to be suspended with money locked in there - cause that money is as good as gone in that case...
what is a "replica system"? is this a euphemism for counterfeit? im assuming so, in which case, the account is most likely toast.. regardless of whether the customer likes them or not.

I'm starting to think these are eBay employees trying to get info from us.
I doubt it. eBay is one of the most incompetent companies the world has ever seen. Imagine they have to work with information from this forum to make policy.
I have a love-hate relationship with them. They make me a living but I love to hat the level of incompetence they exude.
On the other hand, if any eBay employees are here, their presence wouldn't be sanctioned by eBay. They'd be acting on their own like these goombahs here.

I'm in the exact same position but from Canada. What do you guys think the chances of getting the money on hold are? I have quite a bit locked in the account.

If I'm not mistaken, ebay blocks funds for three months in case of account blocking. If that's what you mean.
it is mix of factors , but if you raise 800% sales so in most you will get it , but better early as possible to pass it ,then your account will be much more solid
But will you get the funds after 3 months no matter what? Sorry I asked this earlier, but forgot to reply to you!
No company can hold money just like that indefinitely. I'm certainly not good at US law. But if the ebay just takes the money, it's theft. They can delay it for a while. To make sure there are no disputes / returns.

Tell that to some companies like PP and AZ....hold money indefinitely...
if it is like Paypal AUP violation, you may not get your money back,as OP is selling counterfeits.
Does Ebay/MP have any explicit policy on counterfeits?
I know there is a list somewhere that you cant use MP to sell gold buillion, real estate ??
OP lost all of his money and therefore living on the streets without internet access. It's too bad because Ebay released his funds after suscessful deliveries of his sales and he doesn't even know.

Im on that opinion too.
I've had multiple accounts doing the same thing and they always get randomly suspended.
I even had one where I provided all documents, and after 3 weeks I they suspended the account and I saw the same items listed from a brand new ebay account.
Those rats. They use the same moron tactics as amazon.
