Reply from eBay after suspension.
 

Hi any thoughts on the below?

I am contacting you from the Executive Office of eBay in relation to an email sent to Rob Hattrell. My name is Patrick, I have been asked to reach out to you on Rob’s behalf..

I understand from your email that you are contacting in relation to a suspension placed on your account, I would be happy to investigate your concerns.

Upon investigation I can see that your account has been suspended due us not being able to verify the information that was provided to us to satisfy our obligations under the applicable financial regulations.

Due to the above your account has been suspended, we are unable to offer reinstatement and any funds not already paid out will be retained by eBay as required by law. I do apologise if you did not receive correspondence advising of this.

ebay is thief!
They should pay out your money no matter if you could keep your account or not, because you have sold items, and the money belongs to you. they may block your account but they could not keep your money!

Well this logic doesn't really apply to eBay so it's best we figure out what to do.

That sucks. The funds will most likely go into escheatment which you'll have to get it back via the state.

Seeing you are from the UK, it might be a different story. I would ask live chat help on what is going to happen to the funds since you can't get your identity verified.

Is it a stealth account?

nothing new here , the TO forgot to mention they sent in a stealth ID after which they were suspended and the funds were frozen indefinitely

He should keep chasing for funds, ebay shud not keep funds,
