Selling privileges restricted

Hi,

i sold a lot in the last days, i got few feedback from this sell session, and got some claim for non received item because it's christmas and courier are crazy...

I know i got the restriction by a eBay bot thinking i'm scamming or account was hacked and used for scamming, the account was unused since months...but is is really sad

i contacted support, how many odds i have to be reinstated?

Account is from 2020, have 150+ seller feedback, and the items shipped in this days are arriving little by lttle and people slowly left positive feedback

Are you meaning the MC011 restriction?? If so then it depends on if you can provide the documents they request. The hardest documents to get is the invoices really. ID and Utility Bills is easy.

Don't think its' MC011, never seen that email, email don't have code anymore. i don't know what they will ask, usually i used to create myself bills docs and utility...that is no problem...i'm hoping a situation like that

Your odds realy depend on ths situation itself... no way to predict in advance.
Just be prepared to give them whatever they ask for if it comes to that.

I found the exact english version of the message i got in my language from eBay

- Indefinitely removed your ability to sell. You can't use other accounts or register new accounts to sell on eBay. If you do, your accounts could be limited, restricted, or suspended.
- Removed any of your listings. A list of any removed items will be listed further down in this email.

We have credited all associated fees except for payments processing fees and the final value fee for your listing(s).


You can still bid on items, buy, and complete transactions you have in progress.

And yes, situation itself is very important. I was selling an item that in this moment is very requested because the christmas time, but used to sell it during the whole year period too.


The trigger is...I was not selling in this account since some months, and sold a lot in the last week

I unfortunately got 4 not delivered claims ( in italy we are forced for low value items to use a kind of shipping that in this period can be tricky, the tracked 24/48h alternatives are too expensive), some shippings were in late. 2 of this are fraudolent because the tracking says delivered, the other 2 are ok and i already refunded them caring at account

Total items sold around 70 ( about 20 between shipped on friday and to be shipped on monday ), and i got only 2 feedback from people

Actual situation most of shipping now delivered and i'm getting feedbacks

Oh yea this is a permanent selling restriction on your eBay. You can still make purchases but the selling account is dead. And you can’t appeal

Agreed, the account is dead.

Folk need to put a bit of effort into priming and warming up their accounts, partially in the run up to ban season.

At eBay nothing is dead and nothing is live, if you read and stay at the email yes is dead. But the reality tells another story, the same story...have to find a rappresentative with the brain connected, and with some effort can be solved

You may get lucky with the right person but from my experience from that message is after calling them all they do is read a script saying we don’t like your selling habits blah blah blah.. But I think I got this from high cancellations / returns and cases where eBay have to steps in and the case ends in buyer favor

Agreed - the end goal of effort is likely not going to go well

Got the same email this morning on a rock solid account - bad part is when I call they say there is nothing they can do and it cannot be appealed.

And you stalk them until they give you the chance to appeal in somehow...
Since MP exist you can spend some effort to recover it..in a rock acc situation over all
Stealth era is ended and we can't have 10.000 accs a day like before

Have you ever cancelled alot of orders or high number of returns? Or have you had cases where eBay had to step in and close the case in buyer favor?

Agreed - I didn't finish my thought - it was weird because you would expect eb to pick up on that since the tracking info is present so claim should be summarily dismissed

eBay should deny OP to open the claim because the tracking is delivered. easy
