I was using mobile hotspot and made sure IP was changed between acccounts. And these accounts were not selling accounts only just created the initial buying account. eBay and google are working together to share more data about you. So if you’re using chrome I would suggest create 1-2 accounts per day.

That is interesting.

I use firefox containers along with the Mozilla VPN and I create around 50-100 accounts within a span of 3 days. Only about 3-5 go down and the rest stay up.

Interesting how recent was that?

Week ago.

I had more success with accounts being created as a seller when they are aged more than 30 days compared to accounts that are created and then turned into a seller the same day.

So now I just create a host of accounts and browse on them every so often to keep the active.

Now this is all my own experience, I can say it will work for everyone since eBay is as fickle as a kangaroo.

Those accounts will all be linked together. I created around 30 accounts Same User on Firefox using different profiles and they all got suspended. So you’re using same user different containers which is the same

I used different users of windows 11 and chrome. Every user got suspended or reactivated even I only created seller account.
Similar results for firefox...

Mobile hotspot and No-voip phone number....

Hard to say, but none of mine got linked. Currently using many of the ones created on there as seller accounts now.

Probably could be the useragent since I modified it in the settings to show as a Windows 7 Chrome user.

My only advice is to wait longer after creating the account. I’m on windows 11 as well. Using a mix of chrome and Firefox

Mine all got suspended after 2-3 weeks. All at the same time. I’ve been using different Windows Users account every since.

hard to say on those.

Is this for the first listing or second? Second listing I have found it is a combination of IP, age of the account from the first listing sold and the type of item you are listing.

I just called ebay and the lady asked 4 stupid questions regarding selling and purpose on ebay and I got the restriction removed so I guess I'mma let that account sit for a week or so then sell on it

The account is dead. I have yet to find someone that survived “reactivate your account” after calling and successfully restoring the account. 2-3 weeks later you’re getting suspended.

I just called the other account and another representative said they can't lift the restriction from the account but didn't give me a reason why...... maybe its the IP address I'm using I'm guessing.. any ideas why this is happening

What’s your IP source? When I was using NordVPN I got this message every single time. I switched to mobile hotspot and I rarely get this message now

its residential spectrum IP address but its definitely abused I can't lie about that so I'm pretty sure its that...... also when you do use your mobile hotspot do you use it whenever you list an item?? should I go that route

ebay is stupid, i lost my main account of ebay 2 years ago, cuz i was same problem of you but, that happened with me least 10 times, until one day I never recover my account, I was banned by ebay simply because because I am supposedly a risk to users.

I hate to ebay, but is my best option right now

That’s why it’s best to have multiple accounts for backup, Incase one account goes down

What I found in my experience is that shutting off all privacy blocking options in chrome and using a better quality IP.

Google FI IP works as well as the Moxee Hotspot which have T-mobile IP pool. Straight Talk I never had luck with, I am assuming that eBay flags most of their IPS as bad.

Chrome is the only browser I use now. The less blockage and spoofing you do, the better.

is SAFARI browser good to use for this issue with a Verizon hotspot

Re: What is with this Reactivate eBay crap.

I started getting 'Reactivate eBay' emails on every account i started about a week ago - tried to reactivate through chat - no luck

I've switched from using different user accounts to using virtual machines and i'm having a lot more luck - opened and listed immediately (used books) - all received 'suspended' emails but all were reactivated on chat.

I do believe some HWID identification is the issue now.

There was a similar wave of bans last march too, at that point i switched to firefox within user accs and began blocking webgl, but that no longer works for me.

Hope this helps - if you aren't using virtual machines, give it a try

Re: What is with this Reactivate eBay crap.

How long has your accounts been active after appealing suspension? The account may not survive a full month after appeal. You appeal only to get suspended again.

Yes.

There will remain that risk as always.

I find the opposite is true, the reactivation emails seem to be lower difficulty than an immediate suspension email

Have you had any success with accounts that was restored from “reactivate your account” ? All mines seems to get suspended within a month after restoring it.

I've heard of using the phone number that you sign up for ebay and calling ebay customer service to get back in order to avoid being suspended again.

The account has no problem.

You solve it by looking like a normal person and not a robot. Create new user, Use Firefox, Real Phone Number, and Mobile Data or a residential IP from IP burger. Do not use a commercial proxy or a commercial VPN. The IP has to be a residential IP

Windows 10 and 11 basically has the same privacy protection. Its best to stay updated so I use windows 11. Currently handling 170 accounts just fine

If you were to get a hotspot you would be paying the same thing. There’s cheaper out there but you get what you pay for
