| | | | | Ben35 | 11-05-2022 04:02 AM | eBay holding funds for 96ays now after restriction Hello I am shocked I haven't received my funds by now I thought after they told me 60 to 72 days it was enough for them to release my funds my account was suspended by Vero that is what I think. I was suspended on the 1st of August and today is 5 November now I have no access to contact their customer service they switched my contact access to email which isn't accessible when I tried. This makes me think they are not being faithful also they want to steal my funds what is the funds doing there for all this while I don't understand I know eBay is not a bank I am even surprised they take delight in doing such things. After I read many threads from other people confessing they received their funds within that time period which is 60 to 72 days and even some received theirs before that time frame why haven't I received my funds all this while what are they keeping the funds for is just sitting in there. I am frustrated and do no know what to do that is all my funds there. I am a father of two I am out of funds and it's hard now for me to get a job after I trusted eBay and invested all my funds $1.6k any help please I:help::help::help:::tears: |
Re: eBay holding funds for 96ays now after restriction Welcome to the forum OP - all the best as you master stealth :thumb:
1.6k locked - what vero category/items being sold? |
| Ben35 | 11-05-2022 01:02 PM | Re: eBay holding funds for 96ays now after restriction Some of the items were sneakers and apple air pods was the item that triggered warnings from eBay and is 96days still haven't received my funds |
Re: eBay holding funds for 96ays now after restriction very high risk items - hmm have you been asked to provide proof of source of your goods? |
| Ben35 | 11-06-2022 06:24 AM | Re: eBay holding funds for 96ays now after restriction No I never sold an apple air pod but I sold three sneakers
Just that I received warnings and a 3 day suspension which was temporary those listings was taken down so I stopped selling and moved my store to clothing which I was fine for two to three weeks without any warnings and later I received a message a restriction message on 1st of August. The only proof I was ask to provide was proof of ID which I submitted and agents told me I will receive my funds in 60 to 72 days which later they are saying 170days all sought of different answers so I am shocked agents from eBay are telling lies to their seller's this tells me eBay isn't a legit company they can't be trusted I will not recommend eBay for anyone I think they are not serious about customer service and doesn't even think about the less privilege they're so selfish. |
Re: eBay holding funds for 96ays now after restriction As you've found out, eBay will say anything you want to hear to get you off the phone/live-chat.
IMO they believe you sold counterfeit or goods from an unathorised source. If so, then they have no intention of ever releasing your money. |

If so then why do they release funds with similar cases after I read similar threads and which people are testifying they received their funds in 60 to 72 days period some not up to the time frame. |

You dont really know how similar is similar?
EbAy is under a lot of pressure from name brands like Adidas,Coach,Apple .
In the case of Tiffany vs Ebay, the court ruled companies should monitor ⊗⊗⊗⊗ and counterfeit ,not the sales venue,so name brands Vero can take down any listings without asking Ebay to do so.
Domestic chargebacks can come in 180 days,in some countries up to a year,in others,no chargeback. |

| Fgrayson | 11-07-2022 08:38 AM | Re: eBay holding funds for 96ays now after restriction There's probably something you're not saying. You invested all of your funds being $1.6k and only sold 3 sneakers on eBay and for that your account got suspended?
How did you invest $1.6k in 3 sneakers? |
Re: eBay holding funds for 96ays now after restriction Was the account verified?
If yes, funds can still be disbursed (there's a chance) |

How did you invest $1.6k in 3 sneakers? | I meant the sneakers and air pods was the suspicious items I listed that I think got me banned. I never sold an air pod it was taken down when I listed but for the sneakers, I sold 3 of them before it was taken down which I even had a 3 days suspension so I stopped and moved my store to selling clothing which I was fine no warnings for over 3 to 4 weeks. until the next month I had a message stating I am restricted so it isn't only sneakers sold for $1.6k. I think the sneakers I think the 3 sneakers I sold cost $350 out of my funds rest I sold is only clothing. |

| SaiJin | 11-07-2022 02:53 PM | Re: eBay holding funds for 96ays now after restriction The problem I'm seeing right now is a Vero / Copyright suspension.
This type of suspension usually they'll end up keeping the funds and the low level customer support really don't know anything nor do they have a say.
The account is fully suspended and they aren't asking for any documentation correct?
Did they also say in the suspension email how long they'll hold the funds? |
