eBay asking for ID on a stealth will this work

Hi I use an eBay stealth account in the UK, I have not been asked for ID yet but I know it’s coming so want to prepare. Right now the details are real, but not my details. When they ask for ID can I change the name, address to mine and then provide my actual ID to get verified? Then can I change them back or is it fine to just keep them as my details at that point? Thanks

My question is when they do ask for ID, can I change to my details and provide ID? Right now I want to keep as stealth details as my real details are banned. But I’ve heard when they ask for ID if you provide your details banned or not you can verify it.

How is an account "verified" without providing ID?

ID is not requested on most accounts if details can be verified through credit agencies but active sellers will need to provide ID's later so eventually it is only small time sellers with small volumes who have the option to avoid ID upload long term
