If you wanted 100% stealth as in a made up name, f*ke details for banking, etc then you're already implying whatever you do is not something intended to last more than 3 months at a time. For anyone selling on eBay pre 2019, once you upgraded Paypal to business you are providing EIN, which then implies what exactly? You had f*ke name but real business, it is stealth with the purpose of being able to sell.
Right now if you don't understand how to use stealth measures you cannot sell on eBay after getting suspended. If you know how to navigate correctly you can. Therefore stealth is not dead, it is just an advanced version. You are using your real name, so in theory its not stealth by definition but anyone serious about selling long term never should have worried about this anyways. It is something we all have dealt with in Paypal, now it's just on eBay. |

Are they linked with a real person's id or ⊗⊗⊗⊗ id? |
| degsey69 | 06-10-2023 06:27 PM | Re: Is ebay stealth still possible? You just proved my point entirely Hank, you just needle people if you do not agree with them, the errors as you point out is a disagreement on subject, calling them errors is a put down, that is classic bullying technique.
I would have thought that you should grow a bigger pair, give advice and respect others, it’s not hard Quote:

If you don't like having your errors corrected then don't post misleading advice, some of which is downright wrong.
The irony of you calling me a bully for replying to your post where you wrongly stated my post was misleading isn't lost on me. I even apologised earlier to you because you misunderstood my post and went to the trouble of clarifying it for you. But I can handle it, no fragile feelings here. :yar:
I won't stop giving the best advice I can nor correcting blatant errors. Creating and maintaining accounts is hard enough and folk need to move forward with their eyes very wide open. You have to option to ignore my posts if you wish. | |

Some advice you've given recently has been truly awful, I simply cannot sit by and let it slide simply because I might hurt your delicate feelings.
I will continue to correct them, kinda the purpose of this forum wouldn't you say. |
| degsey69 | 06-16-2023 03:43 AM | Re: Is ebay stealth still possible? Actually your advice has been cr*p recently, I have been doing this too long too successfully to have personal attacks from you on this forum.
Just keep showing yourself up as you do, no wonder we lose contributors with members who are basically sh*ts when people ask for help.
As I said before your posts prove you bully |

As I said before your posts prove you bully | Examples of my 'crap' advice please.
If you want I'll list some of yours... :) I can start with a post from today. :pound: |

Treat the account nicely
Now you have stealth. |

Do you have any USA stealth accounts?
You can do stealth for selling there with anybody who has a SSN, you can put the correct details of the seller into MP on multiple accounts including your bank account details, as it does not report back to eBay as confirmed by other contributors here. You have the same hurdles to jump as before without getting the name and address on the stealth account verified when required.
Stealth without id theft is very achievable.
The forum is still very active, as other selling platforms appear to need stealth accounts, such as Etsy, Mercari and Amazon. It used to be about eBay PayPal and Amazon years ago, PayPal has fallen off and others are taking its place. | if i put the correct details into MP it will be shown on my bank account instead of stealth name? |
