Buyer on Ebay

I'm a buyer on ebay. Acct was suspended a year or so ago. How do I create a new one?

What was the suspension for and was it permanent?

Being linked to a suspended user and I think it was permanent. There were a few of us in the house that had ebay accounts and my dad was using it to regularly buy and sell things. He ended up suspended and we got suspended for being linked to a suspended account. I'm interested in trying to get back on as Christmas is coming up to shop around.

I get the make new info part, but what about your address? Since I'll just be a buyer how do I make sure the stuff gets to me? I just need a basic rundown of what to do.

Ok,

Make sure you have a Fresh IP address, clean your computer of cookies/flash (CCleaner) and open an account with entropay to get a virtual visa card (you use this to open the paypal account and also to spend through PayPal). You can use your own name (or a variation of it) but change the DOB. You will need a clean phone number to.

You will also need a fresh bank account to add at some point to lift the sending limits. You could use this to make instant payments with but some will recommend against this and suggest you do card payments only.

Address wise you have several options:
1. Use a friends/family members/work address to register and for stuff to be sent to (it's better if it is someone who doesn't use Ebay/PayPal for the same reason that led to your account being suspended)
2. Get a PO BOX/Virtual office type address (just don't use PO BOX in the actual address).
3. Change your own address slightly - play around with the format/post code and send a test letter to yourself to see if it gets through.

That's about it really for a buyers account.

p.s. for some reason I overlooked the fact you are in the US... you will need to find an alternative virtual card (don't think entropay works for the states) but other than that the advice is the same. There are loads listed on the forums

Ok. I'm back. Haven't tried this stuff yet, but have a new question. I'm trying to get back on ebay using my laptop which I get access to the internet on by using a router that's hooked up to my dad's desktop & a wireless adapter plugged into my laptop. Can I change the IP on my laptop without changing the IP on my dad's desktop? I'm not computer savvy at all, so I really don't know how to go about this.
